What are you a 2 year old?  I was for Central, but I can be objective.  Was Moorhead jobbed when Mickelson was called for retaliation after the Central player was holding him?

Goaltending has been very suspect all season.

Can't win at that level in MN with 3 forward lines.

Get Joey back and get respectable goaltending and they'll be in the mix.

Watch Red River get over the hump and beat GFC in state in a few weeks. 

If Red River can work on their d-end and their half wall game, they can compete. 

Can Tim push his kids to getting better and keeping it simple?

Would not be surprised one bit if RR beat GFC at EDC and/or at state. They just about did a few days ago.

One of the two GF schools just did that exact thing, and won - no strings, no gimmicks, just won. 
 

grand forks has it set up correctly - 2 schools each with 36-40 boys participants, fed by a youth club and community focused on hockey improvement of the 800 or so kids all who hail from within the GF public school boundary. 

let’s not mess with what has been successful for 50+ years

Red River gave everything they had that game. I’m still waiting for GFCs first line to play to their potential consistently and if they can figure it out. I don’t see any team matching up with them line by line.

Interesting, where would they play? I can’t imagine the city of EGF would be thrilled to share ice with a private school.

This idea sums up many drunk conversations between bantam & pee wee AA parents in Grand Forks who don’t like the competition in ND.

Have also heard this as well. I haven’t heard much serious convos beyond barstool talk about it but I’ll try and fish around some.

My source said it’s dead. Sacred Heart doesn’t want it ($ and space to add more students). And EGF is strongly against it for obvious reasons.

Doesn't Sacred Heart co-op with Crookston now? I don't know how many boys from Sacred Heart actually play, but I believe there have been several on the girls side in recent years.
