Is JTJ actually that much more mobile than the bunch or is that advantage a smaller gap than advertised? I love the idea of an elusive and game changer electric QB who bails out the offense time after time, even if he has a slightly downgraded arm. But if that gap isn't very big and Kaminski is winning the throwing comp, then it seems like it will be an easy decision. Either way it's awesome that UND seemingly has 2 solid options ahead of the starter from last year who's also still there, and likely better than he was last year himself...which essentially means they have THREE better options than they did at this time last year. That shows growth and progress, and that's exciting.

It’s the movement paired with his size and length. You can actually believe he could shrug a guy off and make a play. Jerry can run just fine but is a lot smaller.

The latest undfootball360 podcast with fruechte was great.  It had a lot of insight into what Isaac is looking for in a QB.  His number one comment was he was looking for a QB that could push the ball up the field with his legs.  Based on hearing that, I’m guessing romfos relatively poor throwing has a bit higher focus on this fan board than in the coaches decision criteria.
Anyways he mentioned 3 QBs running neck and neck.. romfo, JTJ and kaminski.. very specifically said sulik needed to get better running.
Additionaliy said he imagined there would be significant playing time for multiple QBs.  Highly recommend listening if you have some time.

He also mentioned Jerry should have seen the field more during our lopsided wins and losses.

Yes, but at least he acknowledged it. If asked, he probably would given a “politician like answer” with a non answer.

I do like what Schmidt said (indirect jab at last regime) about teaching the players about “work hard” or effort/hande adversity is.

SDSU and NDSU and MSU having running QB. Just look for opportunities.  The future.
