About 25(?) years ago, Tech stayed in GF after the last regular season series to face the Sioux for the best of 3 first round. Anyone remember the year?

More so about UND but yah, happy for th e fellas, especially Mbereko. He seems to have found his game, he made some incredible saves in a game where Duluth really controlled play.

Would have to look up the year, but I feel like UND hosted Michigan tech two weekends in a row around 2008. Not sure if the team stayed in GF, though.

Looks like that happened in 2004.  Still unsure if that was the year the team stated the whole week, but certainly could have been  

UND did host Michigan Tech in the WCHA first round in 2008, but not the regular season final weekend.

Since the roster cap drum is being beaten again. Simple solution make goalies exempt and you can only add a goalie if you lose one to an injury. That would give UND for example 3 extra spots put them at 27 and 3 except spots for the goalies. If you carry more than 3 goalies, without losing one to an injury or out for a significant time because of an injury, the goalie takes up the extra spot. Air Force being an example because they carry 5 goalies. Next everyone will be wanting teams to have two extra players per game (1 forward and 1 defenseman). 

Mercyhurst also has, checks notes, 33 players 28 before you count goalies.
