Yeah, maybe we should tell a talented offensive player to go to the portal because of his mistake, because like you said if he hasn’t learned the lesson by now there is no hope. Similarily we should have rid ourselves of Blake for many similar mistakes.

Some of these guys weren’t put in position to best utilize their talents.  Schmaltz has given a lot of himself, but his role should have looked a lot different if we are being honest to the extent of his offensive abilities.  I certainly don’t hold that against him.

Probably should have rephrased it as this has to be one of the more under whelming senior classes in recent memory.

One of the Achilles for this team is the turnovers in the defensive zone. Clear the damn puck past the blue line, and then worry about the next play. Down 0-1, due to a turnover that led to that goal.
