I've never seen a UND team leave in front of the net uncontested like they did against ASU. Even in front of ASU net the forwards weren't there taking the goalies eyes away.

Every post game coach says they have to play a full 60 minutes

Croal should be in over Montgomery. Monty played 1 or 2 shifts last game and we could have used an extra PK guy like Croal Saturday. Berry is being the nice guy and going with the hometown kid when someone better is wearing a suit.

dont know if the order of those D pairings on the line chart means anything, but Emery is not a top line D Man. Not a physical player (except to take a cheap costly penalty) and provides very little offensively or on the breakout. Has not progressed like young D men in the past.

Playing 50 seconds last game indicates he’s not even being utilized.. Croal is an absolute energy guy, can take multiple solid shifts, and can kill penalties. He’s more valuable than Monty even if Monty can play mediocre D for a couple shifts.

We used to value an "energy" guy like this young Croal. Compared to some of the guys who don't seem to want to play with passion until the point in the game when we have to pull our goalie, he is a joy. Put him in coach.

Yeah the D pairings last Saturday changed a bit within the game so I’ll bet they will tonight, too. Plus livanavage played a million minutes last game but I’m sure that’s due to how much time was spent on special teams
