Won't go that far.  Our 2 losses would not get us above an undefeated Montana or Tarleton team.  The others ahead of us I think would be jump.

Wins against 1 and 2 will absolutely launch us above those two teams.

Montana would have the head to head win and a win over #1 or #2 Montana State. We’re not jumping them if both teams win out

Run the table would almost guarantee the #1 seed.

I think the best we could hope for is #3. Tarleton will go undefeated and the winner between the griz and bobcats would be the 2

Ziebarth out for "about a month" per Tom Miller article just posted on the Herald website.

A month in my book is four weeks. Surgical repair of a collarbone to allow one to resume play in a contact sport is not a 4 week recovery. If volleyball and soccer are considered contact sports and 6-12 weeks without contact is the norm for those sports then 4 weeks for football is extremely optimistic....if not even unrealistic.

I just hope Gavin snaps don't go to Sawyer. (unless we are in a tight game and absolutely need to).  We need to keep him fresh.

yes.  we have depth but some Freshman need to carry some of the load.

win and get in the top four.  bye win and win first game.  give Gaven 6 weeks to Game maybe on stand by and gain another week.  Definity ready for semi and championship.

A one loss XDSU team (assuming the one loss is to UND) would still be enough to put them as a higher seed than us, I would think.

Finishing 10-2 would get us in the 4/5 seed range, I would say.

But that’s getting pretty far ahead of ourselves. Need to go 1-0 this week first.

A buddy of mine owns multiple Toyota dealerships in Houston.

Asked him once..."Tommy how'd you wind up with all of these dealerships?"

Tommy..."I started by getting the first one."

10-2 with one loss to FBS would probably give us top 4, I would be surprised if we go undefeated in the Valley that we would not be the higher than either of the SU’s.

One game at a time, players bought into that….as for us fans … we can discuss, and ponder hypotheticals of future success. This is way more fun than last year’s discussions and hypothesizing of our negative play.
