I sent an email and received a phone call back. The lady said definitely that no % or commission goes to the school!   I would think she would know what she is talking about!

Good morning, I am the Game One rep that works with UND.  I just wanted to clarify this for you all, since it looks like there is some confusion.

Every dollar spent on these team stores goes towards UND's total spend incentives with GO, which kicks back dollars to UND.  There is also the fundraising mark-up, where a check is cut directly to the program for marked up items once the store closes. 

If you have any questions about anything, feel free to message me and I'd be happy to give you my email or number.  I live right in Grand Forks and would be happy to help clarify anything.

I am glad that I was wrong and appreciate the info.  I am also pleased to learn that UND is compensated.  I would make two suggestions: 1) make sure your Customer Service employees understand this and answer this question correctly when asked and 2) make a big deal about it on your website.  Fans are much more likely to make a purchase if they know it is benefiting their school.

Agreed, there will always be headscratchers like how does Youngstown and Southern Illinois get the benefit of the doubt but not UND? Having attending nine games last year if our defense could have made one or two plays we would have easily been 7-5 - those plays will be made this year.

I can't see SDSU finishing 2nd with all the forced changes in their program and losing a tremendous QB.  Still a lot of talent, but Dan Jackson is the coach of the year if he gets them to top 2 in the MVFC.

As far as UND football goes:

@ K State- Loss, but lets hang in there and show the program has made necessary changes.

Portland State-Win

@ Grizz-A very winnable game, but I'll say a loss.  K state environment should help the kids for this environment.  

Valpo-Lots of playing time for all the kids this game.  Win. 

@ Northern Iowa-Win

Youngstown-Win

@ SIU-Win

Indiana State-That loss stung, lets route them at home.  Win

@ USD-Can't remember the last victory in the dome....Loss

NDSU-A full house for the bizen.....heart over head....Win

I think 9-3 or 8-4 is very much on the table.  Two out of three against the Dakota schools is very much in play.  We've got to get over being a layup for teams on the road.
