That way the GF/Fargo schools can schedule 10 non-conference games vs. Minnesota opponents. Could bring back the Jason Stadstad Holiday Classic at the Ralph and try and get more teams to come. I don't think the Schwan Cup exists anymore. One can dream. Class "A" West- Bottineau-Rugby, Williston, Dickinson, Crosby, Watford City, Hazen-Beulah East- Langdon, Northwood, GPR, May- Port, Devils Lake, Fargo South/Shanley Class "AA" West- Mandan, Bismarck Legacy, Bismarck Century, Minot, Jamestown, Bismarck-High East- Fargo Davies, Fargo North, West Fargo Sheyenne, West Fargo, GFC, GFRR Quote

The TeamND / SF power games could be great entertainment. SF Power now has 5 kids D1 committed on that team for the weekend. A couple really strong ND kids as well that could move on. She really does a good job of at least showing value of the program by pushing kids to the next level, can't argue that. Quote

ILOVEHOCKEY15 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago This would allow GFRR and GFC to do a cities swing where they could schedule some of the Minnesota powers. Their Bantam AA schedule is essentially a MN schedule. I'm sure these kids kind of develop rivalries in youth hockey, why not continue it at the HS level. Quote

Fargo North/South stays in AA Shanley+ (as I'm calling it) will need to be in AA as well ...... In the next 5 years Minto North & Horace? are added after that its right back to 2 regions of AA. Even if those jr gold teams don't come up have a statewide A league. but in the reality of high school AD politics. zero of this is possible even if it is the right thing for the kids 1 Quote

It's 100% politics, I'm just saying it can't be fun for Bottineau-Rugby to get their ass kicked on a Thursday at the Ralph. Quote

Don't sleep on their tendy, they could very well be back if he stays and that's the type of kid that could steal a game on an overconfident team... ala Forsberg vs GFC this year. Bott/Rug will likely be back at state next year if they keep everyone there. BUT they'd maybe be hanging championship banners in the lumberdome in a Class A Quote

I on Ryan Cunningham's show that GFC asked Sheyenne to play 1 game for 4 points to free up a game, but they didn't go for it and their responds was fine but then we are only going to play once in Girls B-Ball and Volleyball. I think you could start Minot North in the A, and Horace in the A to ease the 17-0 beating they'd take from the Grand Forks schools, and as they get rosters filled move them up to the big school league. SIOUXFAN97 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago how soon before minny adds a third level of hockey bc "its not fair" mentality? Quote
Johnny Five Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Never. And I grew up in one of those towns. That being said, wouldn't mind seeing the Warroad, EGF, Hermantown, Cathedral Orono and some of those types move up to AA. Have some balls like Roseau...unless rumors are true they're considering a move down. Quote
