Godsmack Posted October 6 Posted October 6 7-0. 42-4 shots. Not sure what benefit the Tigers will get out of this game besides not scrimmaging against themselves. Quote

brianvf Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Crazy ending in the ASU/AF game. ASU scores with less than a min left in the game to pull ahead 3-2, but Air Force scores 30sec later to tie, then wins it in OT. 1 Quote
brianvf Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Stonehill only won 2 games all of last season. They just won their first game of this season...in their first game...an OT win against Merrimack. SCSU up on STU, 1-0, after one. Quote

I saw Merrimack was playing their student manager as goalie due to injuries to 2 of their goalies and a suspension for the other. That’s crazy! 1 Quote
cberkas Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 Lindenwood beat UNLV 5-1 Saturday night and 6-3 today. Was tied 3-3 at one point. UNLV and Utah have the number of coaches and support staff NCAA teams have which I find odd for a ACHA team Quote

cberkas Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 Quote The Division I Council on Tuesday introduced a proposal to change rules for preenrollment activities in men's ice hockey and skiing, which would enable prospects who participate in major junior ice hockey or on professional teams to retain NCAA eligibility as long as they are not paid more than actual and necessary expenses as part of that participation. "The council is discussing the possibility of developing a comprehensive package of proposals to address eligibility issues presented by the current era of college sports," Whitman said. "We are proceeding with a deliberate, comprehensive approach to review and modernize applicable rules. We anticipate introducing proposals in the coming months that would consistently, meaningfully and responsibly change eligibility requirements to offer the best possible experience for student-athletes and schools." So, they will vote in November Quote

Brad is an expert at framing things in ways that are not obviously disingenuous. WHL players can only come from certain states and providences. Fantilli, Pinto, and numerous other recent USHL draftees would have played in the O if they'd played MJ. The calculus changed drastically, past results shouldn't be used to forecast. Quote

He didn't look the best skating off. this is why college teams should not play the u18 team..not a good look for Notre Dame, and not good for the u18 team going forward Quote

I never mentioned the time for the UM/ASU game. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted October 11 Posted October 11 In AZ right now you're considered "Arizona time" because AZ doesn't do daylight savings time. Right now in practicality AZ is on Pacific time; Denver is on Mountain time. Want more complicated? AZ is on MST (which is same as PDT now) and Denver is on MDT. When I run for President elimination of daylight savings time is part of my platform (right after eliminating all maroon and gold college hockey teams). Quote

Also, you go from Pacific to Mountain to Pacific to Mountain in Northeastern AZ. I was reading how Montana wanted to stay on daylight savings time (central time, which I found out is against the law), but needed Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota would have to join them Quote
