I am curious, last winter I attended a Colorado Aves. Game and ran into several Grand Forks residents. They talked to me about UND and the fact that the fan base following and spirit was alot lower then normal and even alot lower than ten years ago. Has that posotive following and hockey vibe returned this year with the start the team has had?

I just went back to listen.  At least after the second goal it sounded like “It’s For You, North Dakota U”.  It’s one of the three school songs.  It’s part of the parade song rotation, along with Stand Up and Cheer, and Fight On Sioux (or whatever they’re calling that one now).

Unofficial word was that somebody new is directing the Hockey Band tonight and made mistake and called for the wrong fight song.
 

 We just need the team to score again and see if he was corrected.
