Kevin....1st and goal at the 2....just run it three times.  Brady said it, they either lose a 1:20 or a few timeouts.  I don't get the play calling....ever.

That defense is so different with Van Ginkel.  Redmond with one helluva game too.

JJ will make his mistakes, but I think using motion and getting the ball out early will help him develop in the long run.  His legs saved them a few times today, which should help with the unpredictable line play.

Lamar next week.  Another test for the defense.

It wouldn’t be so bad if that hadn’t happened other times where they could have run clock and paid for it by allowing the other team time for the comeback.  They were most likely to be up by two scores, whether it be a touchdown or field goal, so might as well run clock.

I don’t get it either. Please give up the play calling to someone that’s competent.

JJ needs to improve his accuracy and touch. Some of it is probably timing issues from not having enough game experience. Some of it is just poor throws. I expect to see significant improvement by next season if he can stay healthy.

JJ needs to get better at throwing on the run. Was pleasantly surprised with his performance today though.

I try not to lose it during games as I'm too old to get upset at this stuff, but I lost it there.  A gap blast three times with Mason.  And if you don't score a TD it doesn't matter, you've taken 1:20 off or they've burned two TO.

Instead we need a great play at the end so Detroit doesn't get it back because we are throwing it for whatever reason with a running clock under 4 minutes left.

Wow JJ....not his day today.

He pretty much sucks. So far this year he doesn’t look like an NFL QB. Inaccurate, no touch on his throws and terrible decision making. Not much to be positive.

Again....again.  You can't give them time Kevin.....run it down.  They have 3 timeouts and a minute left?

1st and 10 at the 15.  Run the ball Kevin.

Agreed. Or the kickoff team just does their job too.

Either way the Vikes had no business winning that game

This season is over. Rest of the games are to see if it’s worth continuing the McCarthy experiment next season. The jury is definitely out on that. Regardless, O’Connell has to give up calling plays, he has shown time and again he is clueless.

Saw a stat on all the times they've thrown it on 3rd and short.  Zero completions.

carolina's st coach stitchin' too

wtf kick it out the endzone

I mean if you kick a touchback they get to start at the 35, for most teams then they only need 25-30 yards to have a decent shot at a field goal.
