sioux_alum
1ST time poster. Besides Zack and BO. Who are the players you miss watching the most? One of mine has got to be Andy Kollar, the way he would come in behind Karl and back stop the sioux in 2000-2001. Andy and Karl. Best goalie pair ever! Diggler
This isn't even close. Jeff Panzer. Though seeing Commie laying the smack down was fun too.
sioux_alum
Panzer great, Commie great. But the way Kollar would come in after Karl was injured and win the big games. Also, it was awsome when he would take a puck off the face or try to run another player over. Just my opinion.
brianvf
Travis Roche. Best offensive dman I've ever seen play at UND.
siouxhockey5
Get out of here with that Kollar talk, he was replaced by Brandt when he had the starting job, personally, I would have to say either Panzer or Roche for sure, maybe even Ryan Bayda. sioux_alum
OK fine, Kollar, best back up ever.
redwing77
I can't think of a single member of the 2000 NC team that I don't miss seeing. They just worked well together. Kollar was good and won big games when Karl was out, but it was VERY clear that Karl was the #1. Bayda was unreal fast and good, but I think the line of Ulmer-Goren-Panzer was great too. PCM
Forward: Lee Goren. He was a real "go-to guy" and a strong team leader. Jeff Panzer is a close second. I always liked Ryan Bayda's gritty style of play. Defense: Travis Roche, a defenseman who could consistently put the puck on net and one-time a pass. Goalie: The unshakeable Karl Goehring. 01grad
Jeff Yureko! Though he never played he was a crazy roommate and it was fun yelling out his name pre-game.

airmail
Travis Roche, a defenseman who could consistently put the puck on net and one-time a pass.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unfortunately, I haven't seen that in a long, long, time. Definitely an imprtant skill for power plays. Roche certainly had it. As far as a single player 2000-P, I'd have to go with Panzer.

Curtis Murphy: A machine at keeping the puck in the offensive zone. Travis Roche: PP has struggled since he jumped on that April plane to MSP.
