sioux rube Posted September 27 Posted September 27 And the putting woes continue this afternoon Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27 Posted September 27 The beat down at Bethpage. USA not the rage at Bethpage. Many ways you can go with it. Quote
tnt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 1 hour ago, Oxbow6 said: Henley is #3 in the world yet the way he's played so far he wouldn't be top 3 in our weekend group. That really goes to show how bad PGA golf is now since LIV. How many people think of Henley as a great golfer? I think the money has really hurt the competitive level on both tours. Rahm, DJ, Koepka, and Cam Smith really haven’t been near as big of impact guys since they didn’t have to produce to get the big payday. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Dustin Johnson, Spieth, Brooks, Clark, Finau, Reed. Not saying they should be on the team, but what the heck happened with those guys? A few years back i would've said we are almost unbeatable in team competitions, but now we are getting run out of New York. At the same time Keegan should've brought his clubs. 1 Quote
Walsh Hall Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Bradley, Reed, and probably Koepka should be playing. The Americans are not uncomfortable to play against. No intense bulldog mentality. Quote
tnt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Safe to say a ton of amateurs could putt better than the U.S. is putting. Would love to see the stats between the two teams at under 10 and 20 feet. 1 Quote
tnt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 The sad part is that Bradley won’t take the heat because of how well some European guys have been playing, but the ball got rolling because of some poor decisions Bradley made. And as I say that McGinley throws Bradley some shade. No excuse for how poorly U.S. has been putting. Quote
tnt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 The only silver lining is NBC won’t have much of an audience tomorrow. Quote
tnt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I’m guessing that Rose isn’t going to go on a rant this time on how easily the course set up for professional players. Quote
sioux rube Posted September 27 Posted September 27 My weekend foursome could putt better than these bums Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Scottie will go down as one of the greatest golfers of his generation but his performance this weekend should never be forgotten. Maybe in the future you start him in the foursomes away from the alternate shot because he has not been good whatsoever, and it started Friday morning. 11.5 to 4.5 I'll say Europe wins 19-9. Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 thanks liv.... wonder if the same happens to the nba...and others. saudi money is unlimited. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The first two days just doomed them. Just an impossible number to make up when it gets to the singles. 1 1 Quote
sioux rube Posted September 28 Posted September 28 They made it entertaining today anyways. More than I can say for the first 2 days 1 Quote
