cberkas Posted June 16, 2018 Author Posted June 16, 2018 Max Domi traded to Montreal for Alex Galchenyuk. The best thing I saw on this trade was "When did Garth Snow become the GM of the Canadians." Quote
The Sicatoka Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Based on last year's performance I'd call it surprising even for trade value. Something wasn't right with Galchenyuk last season. His performance slid and that's not right for a guy his age. Who do I think will ultimately win this deal. The team that got Galchenyuk. Quote

Arizona won that trade, Montreal needs a center then trades away a center that is better then Domi. I like Domi but he is no where close to Galchenyuk. Montreal signs Domi to 2 years $3.15 Million AAV that's an over payment for what he has done so far. Quote

Galchenyuk has a chance to really excell without the pressures of Quebec bearing down on him, just needs enough of a supporting cast around for it to matter. Arizona for the win in this one. Quote
