geaux_sioux Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 SUU is having a pretty good year. It would be nice to spoil the party and get some payback for OBrien. It appears that things have clicked for Turner, I'm looking to see if he can keep wrecking plays against a good team, pretty easy to do against the worst team in the league. We better keep the aggressive attitude we had against PSU. You could tell the players were having more fun. We'll see if that can continue against a team that is actually good. 2 Quote
UNDbeliever Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Would be great for us to play spoiler and get a win against a team near the top of the Big Sky rankings, but through clean play and not the bull$%!# type of hit that ahole took on Obri. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 There should be no shortage of motivation for this game. Win this one for OBrien. SUU is the reason he had to retire. Quote

geaux_sioux Posted November 3, 2017 Author Posted November 3, 2017 Can we suit Matt Greene up this Saturday? 1 Quote
UND Dood Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I agree, lets do some spoiling! Go Hawks, play loose, have fun! Quote
UNDColorado Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 It would be great to see the Hawks pull this off. In Bubba's first season we spoiled NAU's playoff chances with our win. Now, we won't spoil SUU's playoff chances but we can knowck them down a peg or two! Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 UND has a chance to finish strong with a couple big spoiling upsets against SUU and EWU. That momentum could then be used going into 2018. Get it done! Go UND! 2 Quote
Nodak78 Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 I looking forward to the young Hawks taking another step forward with their second road win. UND DL needs to be exceptional today to help the DB's. The passing game needs to open up the running game. I looking for a couple of well timed screen passes. Quote

I assume the "well timed screen passes" will come from SUU. The Hawks don't do that. IF the DL does not get to the QB, our secondary is going to have a long day. Looking for Canady to step up. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Good thing we are not playing at Memorial Stadium this morning, more than a few inches of snow on the ground this morning in GF. Just blew some snow, pretty high moisture content. Thinking like 3 turnovers in our favor plus great defense would be a good thing for use in FB this afternoon and with that get by SUU with a W and make that game with E Wash next week something to look forward to? If that is the case, we must have been waiting all season for this game to use them. Quote
jdub27 Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Two safeties available in the first half is not ideal. Limit big plays, keep it close and see what happens. Quote
