That allowed Mikko to move into the # 2 centerman role which is his sweet spot. Totally agree. The Wild are the only team this season to yet pull their goalie during a game because he's getting lit up. Pretty incredible. Quote
sioux rube Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Trap game. Devils 4 Wild 3 after being up 2-0. Ugly loss. 2 Quote
sioux rube Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 What a comeback by your Minnesota Wild tonight over the ugly Ducks 5-3. Great way to cap off Hockey Day In Minnesota. Quote
sioux rube Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Wild blew another 2 goal lead in Dallas but manage to win in a shootout 3-2. Doobs back to form at least for tonight. St. Louis Thursday at the X and then the All Star break. Quote
sioux rube Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 After thrashing the Blues tonight 5-1 the Wild are 21-3-2 in their last 26 games. Quote
sioux rube Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Wild are 12-0-2 in last 14 road games. A franchise record. Try to continue that streak tonight in Calgary Quote

sioux rube Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Granny with his first NHL hatty last night as the Wild pound the hated Canucks 6-3. Last game of the 4 game road trip Tuesday in Winnipeg. 1 Quote

Fetch Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 I have felt unlucky lately in sports (Brady's comeback) like I don't want to be a fan so they can continue to do well - I don't really believe crap like that but ? ? ? If I watch live & they start losing I guess I could blame Dave K like everyone else ¿ ¿ ¿ Quote
sioux rube Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Down go the Jets. Down go the Jets. Poms with 2 goals and 2 assists tonight. Charlie with 3 helpers. Doobs awesome in the net. Hawks at the X tomorrow night. Quote
siouxforcefans Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Last night's game was nerve-racking. Taking that early 3 goal lead, while being outshot, then watching a couple find the net... Good thing Dub was able to lock it down! I wonder if we see Kemper tonight vs. Chicago? Back-to-back with a few travel hours in between could be tough for any goalie. Quote

sioux rube Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Despite the loss in overtime that was one hell of a game to watch. Crawford stole one for the Hawks. Still 5 points up with 2 games in hand. Quote
siouxforcefans Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Big game tonight, after getting "Leclerc'd" on Tuesday by the Ducks. Plus, it's always fun to play beat Dallas. Wife and I made a mid-week call and are headed to the X for Saturday's game against Nashville. This will be the first Wild game we've attended in 2 years NOT against the Blackhawks - hope MN kicks Pred butt Quote
sioux rube Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Wild have only lost 2 games in a row this year in regulation since Nov 5. They avoid doing it again by dispatching the Stars 3-1 tonight. Kuemper looked great between the pipes 1 Quote
siouxforcefans Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Thoroughly enjoyed the game against Nashville 1 Quote

sioux rube Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 The Arizona Coyotes have dealt forward Martin Hanzal to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for first and second round draft picks, plus a conditional pick, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Quote
