obborg Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 UND gets a good home win over a solid MVC team in UNI. 64-59 was the final. Shoutout to Knox for a great game today. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Make it 2 in a row for the women. Dyer had a nice game for UND. Quote
obborg Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Make it 2 in a row for the women. Dyer had a nice game for UND.Yeah, Dyer is starting to find that outside touch. If she heats up from outside she becomes downright scary to defend. Tonight you could tell WIU had her scouted as a drive and crash type because they played her on thier heels, allowing her a cushion and she made them pay. Quote
Siouxper Slam 29 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Still a lot of tickets remaining for tomorrow's game. Let's buy them up!Anyone think we'll break 3,000 tomorrow? Quote
VMeister Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Anyone think we'll break 3,000 tomorrow? The Bison are bad; but not that bad. We'll be lucky to break 80. 2 1 Quote
Siouxper Slam 29 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 The Bison are bad; but not that bad. We'll be lucky to break 80.Looks like there are a few more than 80 tickets sold already. Are you using NDSU math skills? 1 Quote
UND92,96 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 UND up 38-24 at the half over NDSU. A big second quarter for the home team after being down 2 at the end of the first quarter. 2 Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 3 in a row! Starting to come together a little bit. Quote
darell1976 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Nice win in the first ever Bison-Fighting Hawks game. Keep it up! 1 1 Quote
UND92,96 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 How many blocks did Smith have?6. Plus 9 points and 11 boards. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a triple-double or two this year. Quote
Teeder11 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 6. Plus 9 points and 11 boards. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a triple-double or two this year.the points are there for her. she just has to be more patient, set her feet and quit rushing her shots. If she works on that this year, all summer and into next season, she could be very special. Quote
Smoggy Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Fun time and win for UND. NDSU doesn't have much for players. #11 is a stud tho. I think she was like 5 of 7 from 3 and made another that got called off because of a foul. Only other was #34 who can only drive left.UND really made all the hustle plays. Quote
obborg Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 How many blocks did Smith have? Not to mention all the shots she altered just with her presence. It was bad coaching for the bison to keep trying to get in close, especially near the end when they needed 3s anyways. Nice to see Szabla back to full strength. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Down 23-12 to USD end of first. SD shooting about 75%. We have 7 or turnovers. Seem like a yearly weakness we have. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Refs are calling all sorts of handchecking fouls. SD looks like they have better talent. Still 13 pt game Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Down 11 at half. We have 16 turnovers. I would classify most of our tos to be unforced. We just make bad decisions. Still have a chance but very disappointed so far with our play. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 We took the lead in the 4th but down 7 with less than minute left. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Lost by three We had a chance to tie but didn't get a shot up. Played much better in 2nd half. More intensity. Quote
obborg Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 Brewster made the right adjustments at halftime. I have seen him come back to win games with halftime adjustments. But sometimes those necessary changes need to come earlier than halftime. Hard to blame the players when they were led into a disadvantage for way to long. I am normally impressed enough with Brewster's gameplanning, but today was not his finest showing. Quote
shep Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 But they went in focusing on stopping the 3 from this team that shoots a ton. Focused on that and it worked as UND had more 3 attempts in first half than they did. However, they did a nice job of adjusting to that and taking it to the hole more. That's the reason for the good start and it didn't help that even at home our guys just don't seem to have their legs until the 2nd half. I don't get that. Quote
