farce poobah Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Denver continues to be chumps in nonconference play ... losing to Air Force in OT tonight. I see the B1G O-fer got no wins tonight. That plus a UND win puts me in my happy place. Quote
Carl Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 But do they have the giant, floating tiger head?Sadly, no. It is an actual tv broadcast on local CO Springs Comcast. Quote

WiSioux Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 The collapse and total loss of interest in Badger hockey is astounding. Not even 6,500 at their season opener? Is Barry Alveraz that bad for hockey in Madison??? 1 Quote

However, I will bet my house payment that Minnesota has less than 6500 actually in the seats tonight for their opener against Vermont. (P.S. For those in town, stubhub is selling a lot of tickets in the $12-19 range.) Quote

AZSIOUX Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) I think Bucky's problem is less the Big10 and more Eavesexactly, much more than the big. It's been downward spiral for a few years now. Recruiting has been a absolute mess then coaching as well. Very surprised they haven't cut the cord. Get new life and culture there. Isn't gwoz an alum? Can't remember. No brainer if so. Edited October 10, 2015 by AZSIOUX Quote
burd Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 living near Madison for the past 23 years, I've usually tried to catch the Sioux games in town. Those were almost always packed, high energy games, and Badger fans loved the Sioux rivalry. A great college hockey venue that now sucks. Hard to believe. Quote
