siouxforcefans Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 Lousy weekend of baseball. I didn't expect MN to stay in first all year, but Cleveland made a statement in how they claimed the lead. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 I can't figure this team out. Get swept by Cleveland and look inept doing it... now won 4 out of 5 including the first two games in Cleveland! Quote

sioux rube Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Tough not to be impressed with how this team keeps finding ways to win road games. 23-9 so far. They won just 29 road games all of last year. Really looking forward to watching a duel between Sale and Berrios tomorrow night. For whatever reason, Sale doesn't seem to dominate the Twins as much as he does most teams. Hope to see that continue tomorrow. 1 Quote

They're almost 10 games below 500 at home. Cleveland is similar in that they also have played better on the road. I hope they're able to keep it going so I can watch meaningful baseball this fall. 1 Quote

I feel like I should travel to their away games instead of seeing them at Target Field, as they're more likely to win playing somewhere else! 2 Quote
NeutralObserver Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 It is strange. You almost want them to win the division but be the 3 seed so that they don't have home field advantage. 2 Quote
siouxstudent Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Curios if anyone has season tickets or looking to sell a pair for a game. I am looking at the Sat Aug 5th game vs Texas if anyone knows of anyone. Thanks Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 All the jokes aside, he can't be any worse than what the Twins have trotted out for a 5th starter. 1 Quote

siouxforcefans Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Took in Friday's big comeback, and Saturday's egg, in person over the weekend. I couldn't get over the lack of attendance... This team may be streaky (or even have run out of luck, if you're pessimistic), but they're over .500 in July and competing. SMDH. Quote

You aren't going to get fans back with one competitive season following years of losing 90+ games. People are taking a wait and see attitude towards this franchise. Quote

It was bad, but that's what the Twins 5th starter has been all year. Sounds like he will pitch one more time, then most likely retire... which means the Twins will try Gee down in Rochester because realistically what other option do they have. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Taking 2 out of 3 from the Yankees is always a good thing. Hopefully they can stay in the race and if they do, bring Neshek back home Quote
