cberkas Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Gettinng smoked Fire idalski? Hire scablands? UND is down 2-1 with a 12-10 lead in shots, I wouldn't call that getting smoked. Quote
brianvf Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 Whose what? Who's whose? Simple question(s). Quote
Five-HoleFrenzy Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Another loss...4-1 to Bemidji. This team has lost talent for sure but there is still enough talent to produce better results than what has been shown so far. Quote
gfhockey Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 All hail idalski Mvp of gf beer league Quote
Feff Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 To say this team is underperforming right now is an understatement. Quote
sioux rube Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 No kidding? That isn't right. I predict in 2 years Scanlan will be behind the bench. This keeps up and you may be right. Scanlan has done one hell of a job in Beaverland already. Quote
brianvf Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 I wouldn't mind a change.... That's what my 1yr old says. Just yell for your mom and she'll get right on that. 1 Quote
Gully73 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Question: why is Idalski not liked in GF? Have seen it posted on here before but no real details. I've met him at boosters and chatted a few times. Seems decent enough. Is it coaching style or personality? Quote
gfhockey Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 All hail idalski Played bsu pretty tough Quote

Gully73 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 So you wish for his demise (and the 20-something student athletes he coaches) because you don't like the way he plays hockey (or drinks beer)? I'm guessing you would rather he have your personality..... Quote
gfhockey Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Lay off of idalski We played bsu with a half budget pretty tough in there own barn It was a toe to toe game A few bounces here and there and we get close Plus thay had a hot goalie Quote
Gully73 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Prayers for Layla Marvin and her family as she was hit by a car yesterday and underwent surgery last night. Sounded like it could have been much worse so thankful they were non-life threatening injuries. Quote

Gully73 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Yes. You are correct. Sorry about that. Quote
Maddogg1971 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Yes. You are correct. Sorry about that. No worries. The main thing is that she will be OK. We tend to lose our perspective when we talk about hockey.....sometimes. Quote
Laker Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Schlossman tweeted that Lisa Marvin will be out for the remainder of the season. That is a tough break for her. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 And after the weekend in Bemidji you didn't think it could get worse. < sigh > Get well Lisa. Heal, then hockey. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 http://www.grandforksherald.com/content/und-hockey-player-marvin-really-lucky-be-alive-after-getting-hit-car I didn't realize how catastrophic the injuries were. She's lucky she's alive. This has to be tearing Izzy up. (Yo Izzy, I'm thinkin' about you man.) Now, ... < turning slowly toward the two 18 year old idiots cited > ... you two schmucks should be tested to see if you can be the bone donor she may need. I hear it's a really painful process and I can't think of anyone better suited for it. Quote

I hear it's a really painful process and I can't think of anyone better suited for it. That is an excellent idea. Too bad in most people's eyes that is considered cruel and unusual punishment. With what she is forced to go through because of their actions though, I think it would be totally justified, and still wouldn't give her back what those idiots took from her. Quote
