cberkas Posted September 12 Author Posted September 12 West Virgina got a new arena, it has the seating you'd see at a high school arena. Nice to see they got something for their teams. Quote
cberkas Posted September 18 Author Posted September 18 Sounds like Georgia was able to get around 4000 to games in the new arena for a few games. Was interesting and most knew this, once they made the move to ACHA they got more players wanting to play there because they were going to be in the ACHA. 2 Quote

cberkas Posted September 21 Author Posted September 21 After seeing Georgia's D2/D1 ACHA team play Minnesota. They have a way to go to be at the level of the ACHA schools playing against NCAA teams. Maybe in a year they will play the "Dakota Triangle" (Minot, U Mary, and Jamestown). 1 Quote
cberkas Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Listening to the UNLV head coach said there is more interest and traction, and the new UNLV President has been supportive. He said that a new arena would be needed (said 2500 seats), they have outgrown City National Arena. Asked if they will have a presence at the Frozen Four, said they expect to be there with a booth (or that's what I think they are going to do). Need the AD to sign off on getting the feasibility study Thinks they will get USHL players that could be playing NCAA D1 with the addition of CHL players Need the backing to make the jump to NCAA D1 2 Quote

Thats what he said, Orleans Arena would be perfect for them. I think they should want an arena from 4000 to 5000-6000. Quote
