dakotadan Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I thought it was nice last year to follow the games of our opponents to see how they do. Feel free to post game score updates as the games go on. We will have to get this going earlier for next week. I used the AGS Top 25 poll for the rankings. Idaho - 45 vs. North Dakota - 0 Northern Illinois - 10 @ Iowa State - 27 Northeastern State - 31 @ Tarleton St. - 23 Northwestern State - 21 @ Air Force - 65 South Dakota - @ Central Florida - Southern Utah - @ Wyoming - #23 Cal Poly - vs. Humbolt St. - Lamar - @ McNeese - UC Davis - @ Cal - # 2 Montana - vs. Western St. - #9 South Dakota St - Bye Quote

Ole in MSP Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Cal 52 UC Davis 3 Bison tied with KU at halftime 3-3. Quote
Ole in MSP Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 3-3 halftime, good guys tied it up If you want to watch and have Directv it is on Channel 623 Quote
Ole in MSP Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 If you want to watch and have Directv it is on Channel 623 Bison ahead of KU 6-3 midway thru 3rd quarter. Either the Bison are very good this year or KU is not. The Sioux need to learn something from the Bison program about playing up. Quote
Ole in MSP Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Kansas looks awful. They do not look good, but they were picked to tie for 3rd in the Big 12 north. Time will tell how good they are, but right now I do not think they will win a game in the Big 12. NDSU has played well especially on D. Quote
Sioux27 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 NDSU looked very good on D. Unfortunatly with the win and our loss it gives us an uphill battle in the offseason. Good win for NDSU. Beating a 1-11 gopher team and likely a 1-11 Kansas team can't be put on a trophy shelf.........can it? Quote
UNDvince97-01 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 NDSU looked very good on D. Unfortunatly with the win and our loss it gives us an uphill battle in the offseason. Good win for NDSU. Beating a 1-11 gopher team and likely a 1-11 Kansas team can't be put on a trophy shelf.........can it? ndsu was impressive on defense. But that Kansas team was the worst Big 12 team I have seen in some time. Good thing they have New Mexico St on the schedule this year. Quote
moser53 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Kansas looked disorganized. SU will play better coached teams in the Missouri Valley. Nice win for the Bison they seem to play big time programs when they are down. Quote
tnt Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 ndsu was impressive on defense. But that Kansas team was the worst Big 12 team I have seen in some time. Good thing they have New Mexico St on the schedule this year. We'll see as time goes on what Kansas is like, but nevertheless, it was a good win for the Bison. It's true it doesn't help UND's in state recruiting, nor out of state for that matter. It doesn't help the Sioux with stories that read "severely overmatched", in a game they should have at least been competitive either. Quote
the green team Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 I tip my hat to the school to the south for another significant win...lets see if it acts as a springboard to their season. I have to ask this of our program, where are we headed? Personally, I don't see us playing with or beating any low level or average FBS team this year or next year, or even the year after. I just don't see it with the personel that we have or that we have recently recruited. To me, we are not making progress. I'm not entirely sold that the Bison are all that good this year, but they went out there and competed and they did this in the past. I'm hoping this is a wake up call of motivation to our coaches to be better than we currently are in this transition, and that goes for all of our sports. Quote

MadScout03 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Into the 2nd quarter, South Dakota is dominating the Gophers on the Big Ten Network. SD 14 Gophers 3 PRICELESS!!!! Do you have the Big Ten Network or did you just see the highlights on ESPN as well? Just curious if we can get score updates. Thanks. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Watching South Dakota's QB, I am very jealous that we don't have a guy who can make a throw other than a swing pass. Prove me wrong tonight Landry. Quote
Hambone Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 USD driving a little bit again with 2 minutes left in the half. At the 27 yard line of Minnesota. and they score again on a screen pass. Should be 21-10. Also, Idaho losing to Nebraska 3-0 at the end of 1. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 21-10 USD, screen pass well executed for about 25 and a TD. 2 minutes left in half Quote
