Looks like Schultz has fairly comparable numbers to Zellers in the elite league.

Yeah he put up a good number of points...5th in elite league in scoring despite playing 2 less games than all the players above him.
He should have a good season for Minnetonka!

Same logic where Pinto can wear "BET99.com" on his Ottawa helmet but not bet on not-hockey.

How many games does he have to sit out.  Senators say they will welcome Pinto back but my question is “will they”.

41 games but doesn't matter since they still don't have the money to sign him.

Three UND recruits made the roster for the World Junior A challenge in December.
Strathmann, Swanson, and Heil made the team.
Former UND player Matt Smaby is the head coach this year.

Good for CC to have multiple recruits of this caliber. Also, there's a kid from Seattle on the roster, get ready for a wave of D1 players coming from there in a few years, their youth numbers exploded. Hopefully Hakstol helps get our name in their ear. A good portion of the aviation high school in Seattle matriculates to UND.

Odd to see Cade Littler bouncing from thr USHL to the BCHL, must have hit a funk. If there's one program I trust to develop our recruits, it's definitely the Penticton Vees.

Very odd. I would have liked to see his overall production in a much tougher league , but CR is offensively inept. Maybe he just wasn’t feeling it.

Obviously his future numbers in the BCHL will be very inflated considering Penticton is a juggernaut. He should have fun there.

His name was on the roster for the last game Cedar Rapids played, but a bunch of games before that he didn't play.  He is/was their leading goal scorer, so I don't think it is a production thing.  Would be interesting to know if he was injured for the games he missed, or if something else was going on.

I believe I saw he was injured.

Another "move" for a committed recruit.
Simpson had a 1-2--3 line in 14 games with Tri-City so far this season:

This was heavily hinted at for a while. Just didn’t get official confirmation until today. To me, it didn’t seem like he wasn’t playing much at Tri City. 4th line minutes. Makes sense to play the high school season at Shakopee, get more ice time, and return to Tri City once the high school season is over. Which I’m guessing is the plan since he’s still on Tri City’s roster.

Whoa…his dads a hockey guy. Guessing he forced it. The BC (especially playing in Penticton with such a stacked team) won’t push him very much at all, as he’s really old. It will be interesting to see how he comes in. I just wouldn’t look too much into the numbers because im assuming he’ll put up giant numbers. But again, Penticton is so much better than the other teams, not a ton of parity in the BC.

Should be interesting to see how the rest of this year goes for this young man.  This may be an interesting stop on his hockey career.
