Solid depth piece for when injuries may pop up. Might as well enjoy the last 2 years of your college career to the max even if your playing time is limited. Seems like that wasn’t exactly happening at ASU based on the transfer portal activity today.

I don't think he's a depth piece. He was ASU's TOI leader, so I doubt he would transfer to a program that planned to use him as a 6th or 7th guy

He was pretty much ASUs only defensive defensemen. UND has 2 two already for next year before he committed.

Heil stopped 61 of 63 shots in the two games last weekend. Ashton Schultz had 2 goals 2 assists in two games.

People looked at Tyler Young and Ollie Josephson as depth guys, which they were to some degree, but both added a lot to the team.  It is more important that the players coming make sense to the coaches rather than the fans.  You don’t win without the Connor Ford’s and Nic Jones’ type guys.

It sounds like the plan is for Lindberg to come in next year. Has anyone watched him play this year? What type of role could he handle next season at the college level? I have have heard he is a player that doesn’t fill up the stat sheet but is valuable in other ways.
