nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 wow. cornell player just rocketed one off the crossbar. lucky there. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 cornell penalty, short 4 on 4, then sioux pp. Quote
UNDintheNHL Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Trupp taken out, 4-on-4 for a bit, then abbreviated PP (maybe 1:30 actually) Quote
t_speaker31 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Duncs looked so confused there...... Sioux PK? wow that Bremer commercial had footage from back when GREENE was there. yeah, i noticed it last night, i saw genoway looked a lot bigger and wearing 26 (or something like that) then realizes it was colby Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 crap!! shorthanded goal by cornell. 1-0. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Keep up with the play-by-play! I'm stuck at a PC in the metro area and really miss not being able to watch the game, let alone hear it on the radio. If you click the "Listen Live" link on www.kfgo.com you should be able to listen to the game. Quote
UNDintheNHL Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 too many passes. reminds me of when Lee played on the PP.....SHOOT IT! Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 too many passes. reminds me of when Lee played on the PP.....SHOOT IT! we'd kill to have lee quarterbacking our pp this year. if there was one thing he was great at, it was controling the pp from the point. Quote
t_speaker31 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 We only have 11 shots on goal? 11-20 Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 We only have 11 shots on goal? yep Quote
siouxforce19 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I think we need to regroup for the third period. If things don't change, this could be disastrous. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 1-0 cornell after 2. cornell is skating hard, we need to get more pucks to the net. only 13 shots on goal so far. Quote
yzerman19 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Last couple Sioux teams have had a lot of trouble beating teams that play defense first. We can run and gun with anyone, its the clog the slot, slow it down, block shots style that kills us. Quote
farce poobah Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Maybe the most intriguing game of the night - Air Force at Denver - audio link: http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.htm...amp;media=82851 Quote
johndahl Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 1-0 cornell after 2. cornell is skating hard, we need to get more pucks to the net. only 13 shots on goal so far. The Sioux finally looked less tentative in the final couple minutes - I hope that carries over to the third period... Quote
Siouxtimestwo Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Last couple Sioux teams have had a lot of trouble beating teams that play defense first. We can run and gun with anyone, its the clog the slot, slow it down, block shots style that kills us. Anyone other than BC. Speaking of shots on goal, last night Michigan State got outshot 50-11 by the Badgers! Only putting 11 on net is bad enough, but how in the world does Sconnie put up 50? Do they even shoot it 50 times in practice? Back to the Sioux. Watching last night was a blast. I wish I got to watch tonight, but it sounds like if they get some more shots on net this 3rd period, they should win this game. Is Cornell stepping it up on D compared to last night, or are the Sioux just going back to cycle mode? Quote
WiSioux Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Apparently lots of line changes for the third period. Duncan - VandeVelde - Hextall back together Quote
