Big A HG Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Douche #1 followed by Douche #2 scored for the Boston Bruins so far in the 1st. Good game going on though.... I bet Wheeler won't be saying much to anyone now that he's in the big time. Maybe now that he scored a goal he'll get the same attitude he had at UM. (Kessel is the other douche) Quote

(Kessel is the other douche) This is a HUGE delimma for me. As a lifelong Bruins fan you can imagine how hard it is to enjoy a win for the Bruins when the goals were scored by Kessel and Wheeler. ARGH! Quote

Siouxtimestwo Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 This was on the front page of ESPN.com today. Nice to see Toews getting not only attention in the hockey world, but also the sports world in general. Too young to lead the Blackhawks? Toews says: Bring it on! Quote
hrkac Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 4 was his number growing up and 7 of course at UND You were right, AZ. still..., 74...? There are sexier numbers out there than taking a football offensive lineman number. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 You were right, AZ. still..., 74...? There are sexier numbers out there than taking a football offensive lineman number. 77 would have been cool to see but 74 were his 2 main numbers playing when he was young and with the sioux. i like the higher numbers and if you notice all the new young players in the NHL have picked highter numbers.crosby #87, turris #91, boedker in phx #89, mueller and kane #88 and iver seen many more on various teams i think the nhl center ice package may be FREE for a couple weeks but i suppose that depends on your cable/ or dish carrier. Big A HG Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Parise with a goal so far tonight Oshie and Porter were both on the ice when Nashville scored. Quote
SiouxperFan Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I believe Nick Fuher was let go in Lincoln and is now in GF. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Oshie just put a big hit on a Predator and the announcer described him as "not large, but thick." Ahhh, I miss him in green and white. Anyway, Blues are up 5-2 after two. (Porter had an assist on the Blues 2nd goal.) Quote
CDog Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Drew Stafford had a very slick back-hander in the shoot-out tonight for Buffalo. Quote

Tsiouxnami Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 The Blues won 5-2. Nice to see Oshie's speed. Amazing how much faster a guy can be when he doesn't have 3 guys hanging all over him (with no call). Quote

UNDintheNHL Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 An interesting note.....Porter has more points than Oshie, Toews, Blake, or Stafford do this season so far...... ok, so what if they have only played one game.....he still is ahead...for now Quote
31-9 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Parise with an absolutely beautiful shot to beat the Pens in OT. Zach is 2 for 2 this season. Zajac with the assist. Quote
Siouxmama Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Parise with an absolutely beautiful shot to beat the Pens in OT. Zach is 2 for 2 this season. Zajac with the assist. That was a nice in the air pass by Zajac to Parise. I think the announcer called it a home run pass. Quote
jk Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Mike Forney had a hattie in about 2.5 minutes of the third period to bring his team back from a 3-6 deficit to a tie game. After two long years off, he finally gets to play hockey again. Quote
