the nhl regular season started for 4 teams playing overseas against eachother. brian lee and ottawa went 1-1 vs the penguins. lee seems to be on the last D pairing and played both games with a little time on the PP both games

Porter gets cut from the Blues and will start the season in Peoria. Many Blues fans believe he will be the first player called up due to injury or lack of production...

brad mentioned chorney will start in the AHL as well which was expected but he did make it all the way though camp which was a great sign for taylor. bina is listed on the AHL roster as well. maybe they will be D partners!

I'm glad Genoway is doing so well in Finland.

He seemed to excel in the AHL and never really got a shot at the NHL level.

I'm curious about salary though. I wonder if he gets paid more in Finland than in the AHL?

He's making more money and playing far less games.
