I agree 100% win or bust. After what I have seen the first two games I don’t see how we don’t come out on top today. We are ready.

34-31 UND wins. I feel like the team is ready to step up to the next level.

Time for Everett to step up and make us not notice Noah is out. He needs a big game for us to be successful and stop the run.

I have real good feelings about this game. If we can shut down UW then I’m not worried at all about any FCS team. The UW QB is way more talented than the Sam H QB so that should give our secondary more of an advantage. Their QB was also interception prone so I expect the return of the ball hawks in this game! If we can pick UW 2 times I expect us to be able to do that against any team in the FCS. I think we will be able to shut their run game down and I have a feeling our secondary will step up and do a great job against the pass. As for the other side of the ball we know we can run the ball and prefer to. Their defense was very poor against the run and I expect us to exploit this weakness to its full extent. They know we are going to run the ball but that won’t stop us. If we can get some key passing plays we can make this a long game for Sam Houston. the only thing that can derail us is more injuries, we need to get healthy and stay healthy because I have much confidence in our two deep. 34-21 UND wins

Those polls are garbage. No way UNI should be ranked and UC David not even cracking the top 25.

I’m not blaming the receivers at all. It’s not meant to be a dig against our corps just because I’m pointing out their secondary is much more elite. Good secondary’s are tough for the WR to get open and for the quarterback to fit the ball in tighter windows. The more our QB and receivers he’ll the better they will be. Noah and Studs had awesome chemistry last year and it will only get better for Ket.

Ketteringham will do just fine going into the rest of the season. You guys need to realize we were playing against NFL caliber secondaries so how do you expect our homegrown WR’s to get open? We have some talented WR but none that I think at this point could play on Sundays. Do you really expect our wr to be open every play so of course Ketteringham would be under pressure. We will have a better advantage when we start playing our FCS schedule. No worries from this camp. Can’t wait until Saturday!

Maybe you should just stick to the hockey boards if you think this game is driving our fans to just care about hockey. I don’t see anyone on this board agreeing with anything you are blabbing tonight.

Irrealistic expectations. This was not going to be a weak matchup and you cannot compare this game to any of the previous 9 FBS games.

You seriously didn’t think we were going to win did you? Whether we lost by 14 or 40 we still played a decent game against a top FBS team. Yeah I wish we would have kept it close but nothing by positive things coming out of this game.

I was one of the biggest skeptics going into this game and I got to say I was quite impressed. We kept their number one offense in the game through 4 quarters. That’s pretty impressive that we were that successful against a top FBS team. Granted our offense couldn’t move the ball but our defense did a great job not allowing many points before the half. Take away some of our costly mistakes and the game would have been even closer longer. I hope injuries didn’t hurt us because next weekend is critical to our season and reputation.

I wouldn’t say Rudy has been so bad this season. Big test is coming up against Sam H.

I don’t know why having the expectation that we will lose is so bad. We mock moo u fans for saying “bring on Bama” when we know how big of a beat down that would be. This game is almost on the Bring on Bama level. We all hope we can keep it close but we all know no matter what the rest of the season is what is important. You would think with the fan’s low expectations the players would feel less pressure and be able to go into the game and just worry about having fun and taking in the moment. Bubba is not setting the expectation to win and more like to compete with their full effort on every play.

Did anyone see that UC Davis took down FBS SJSU last Thursday? Will they be a contender in the big sky?

Absolutely not. Chances are they will take out there anger on us and try to run it up to 60-70 points

Why wait til the mid 4th? What do you consider a blowout? Down by 30, 40, or 50+? If we are down by over 30 after the half we need to consider keeping our starters healthy. There are bigger fish to fry than keeping a blowout under a 30-40 Point spread.

Washington is not a winnable game. They are not a G5 team. The are not a bottom feeder P5 team. They are a legit FBS bowl game contender that was ranked in the top ten. You cannot compare Washington to any of those teams on that list. I hope we can still compete against their 2 and 3rd string players but at what point do we get our backups in the game to get just as important experience?

We need to pull our starters after the first half if we can’t keep it close. No need to get all beat up for a meaningless game. We need to stay healthy for Sammy because that game is critical for the rest of the season.

The more football I watch the more I am giving our defense a pass for a poor first quarter. It’s tough to know what an offense is going to come out with to start the year. Are they going to run a similar offense or is the new coaching going to change it up completely. I have a feeling that this will not be a common theme going forward this year as we play team with more and more film. I can’t wait for Sammy.
