We were really missing some speed on offense this week. We need some speed to get guys open against their good corners. I thought we would be fine without Izzy and Santiago but it was glaring that we didn’t have the same level of speed. The team played their hearts out and only lost by 5 points. The loss sucks but we were right with them if we could have got a couple stops or got something going on offense. We need to get healthy and win out. We can make a run if some guys can step up and fill these voids.

Students should show up. Weather not too bad and there is no hockey game to compete with. They need an excuse to party this weekend. Hopefully they are not too hungover Saturday morning

Who is the WR that steps up big this weekend? Will Brad H take advantage of more snaps? Could we see the REd River walk on get some big plays? This game will show what this team is made of. Time for the next man to step up big.

Between two end zone int and going for it on four downs instead of field goals if we would have executed better we easily would have put up 50+, good thing we didn’t need those points. the one td with the back ups was a complete fluke so I don’t fault them for that one.

We needed to run the ball more and milk this clock starting in the third. We literally could have marched into the end zone running the ball on every down. I see what Bubba was trying to do. The game was over and he simply wanted to milk the clock and avoid any unneeded injuries. We dont have a true 4th string RB that we can play without taking away eligibility. That’s why we saw Brady and JJ running out the clock instead of Weah. We ran #1 towards the end after getting JJ banged up and he is not the thunder we need on those downs. Great win and glad to see we were ready to play from the first down.

We can easily beat Montana if we show up ready to play. We can’t have any weaknesses on defense. After hearing and reading stories in Montana how were they ranked 14? Purely reputation

These polls are garbage. They need to go to an rpi system for playoff selection with autobid. No reason to have a subjective selection process. The biggest joke was UNI being one spot away from being ranked. That’s how you know this is a joke

Santiago style is boom or bust. Most carries are for a ton of yards or for 0. With JJ and Brady they gain a consistent 4-6 yards with some longer runs. I really think we could run 3 consecutive run plays with Jj/Brady and sustain drives. I would like us to pound the football more but many of you would complain the play calling is poor. The difference is I don’t think running Santiago 3 straight plays would be as successful. Once they try to load the box to stop the run throw over the top for some big pass plays.

I do agree faison was not the best cheerleader for UND football. He dropped the ball and could have worked more to make the program better and instead just focused on hockey

How do we know NDSU offered a home and Home series? I say not since they made us come there twice without a return game. Like I said before all you Bison fans are a bunch of whiners about the nickel trophy and the past rivalry. Half of your fan base wasn’t even a fan of NDSU when we last played.

the bison are such whiners. If they wanted it they could have scheduled a home and home series with UND and we may have played for it.

My only theory is that his offenses were not talented enough for his complex play system. I don’t think Studs quite fit his system and I am assuming that Kett is now allowing him to expand the number of plays he can run. Or Bubba was desperate
