Santiago style is boom or bust. Most carries are for a ton of yards or for 0. With JJ and Brady they gain a consistent 4-6 yards with some longer runs. I really think we could run 3 consecutive run plays with Jj/Brady and sustain drives. I would like us to pound the football more but many of you would complain the play calling is poor. The difference is I don’t think running Santiago 3 straight plays would be as successful. Once they try to load the box to stop the run throw over the top for some big pass plays.

I do agree faison was not the best cheerleader for UND football. He dropped the ball and could have worked more to make the program better and instead just focused on hockey

How do we know NDSU offered a home and Home series? I say not since they made us come there twice without a return game. Like I said before all you Bison fans are a bunch of whiners about the nickel trophy and the past rivalry. Half of your fan base wasn’t even a fan of NDSU when we last played.

My only theory is that his offenses were not talented enough for his complex play system. I don’t think Studs quite fit his system and I am assuming that Kett is now allowing him to expand the number of plays he can run. Or Bubba was desperate

I saw on Instagram how big of a party the student section was so I’m not surprised by the mess. It was pretty much a small concert in ge tailgate. I never saw anything like it in my years at UND. Hopefully they let the kids be kids and not ruin it like every other fun activity at UND.

Anyone see the Vikes game today? How about the Packers game? Talk about a weekend of football to forget. Are their seasons over because get lost to teams they thought they should beat? We need to drop whining about this loss and move on.

ISU is a veteran team with mainly jr and sr as starters. They played well against top ten Cal. Don’t discount the experience, they will be a team that will competes this fall.

We also should have went for it on fourth down when on their 30 some yard line. We kept moving the ball good then got stalled. We needed to try to keep it going once we had the ball in their end. Those penalties absolutely killed us on those 3 drives. Chang that and it would have been a different ballgame

He had a bad game in the second half but he is still learning and getting better. We are all pissed after this loss but some of you really need a reality check. We only have two losses right now and our season is far from over. its time to move on from this loss and make sure going forward that we don’t regret needing that win. It was a whole team loss with many to blame and we need to mice forward just like the team is. It’s way too early in the season for some of your guys crap.
