I'm not sure what a leaky old swimming pool has to do with an alleged top secret plan made a few years ago involving D2 Augustana, Montana, Montana State and others from the Big Sky joining the Summit. If some day after it all comes to fruition, there comes to light that there was a top secret plan kept vaulted for years that the best of the Big Sky were joining the Summit, but only once the Summit was screwed auto-bid wise and Augie joined up- at that time, i'll certainly admit and give props to the genius strategery of Kennedy and Schafer.

Nope. It only relayed/reaffirmed that UND needed to cut costs and sports. So they did. No tea leaves, pixie dust, etc.

I think its becoming abundantly clear there was no long range strategic plan for reshaping the summit/mvfc when UND decided to join; the decision to join was based solely on travel costs, and little to no thought was put into the potential pitfalls and risks the rudderless ship known as the summit provides.

I must confess I’ve gone there once; the day Craig Bohl’s Wyoming news broke. That was fun.

I'm thinking the Montana/Montana State game winner will be in the playoffs ahead of us regardless which team wins. Montana's ability to make cash for the ncaa, and their win over the holy grail of UNI, will somehow count more than UND's head to head win against Montana in this case...they'll get to use the "we had a bad day" excuse for that loss.

I think we were ranked 40th after last week if you go by number of votes received. We have no chance of playoffs regardless.
