YES we can all debate on what style of offense and defense would be most successful, but what irritates me so much right now is the guys played their hearts out, got screwed by the refs multiple times, and did enough to win this game if it wasn't for complete coaching ineptitude. 8 minutes left in the game and up by 10, and with the reputation our punt team has, we don't max protect on that punt???? less than 4 minutes left in the game up by 3, our top 4 receivers out with injury, and we decide to go into #chuckthepigskin mode??? This from the staff that is more in love with TOP than any other statistic known to man??? If Bubba and the Blunderers want to attempt to stem the tide of frustration among the fanbase right now, I would hope they take it upon themselves this week to accept complete blame for this loss and give the players credit for doing enough to win.

I also don't get why when we have three up backs, and the other team is completely stacking one side, we don't slide a second upback over to that left side in this situation.

He should have done that last year when it was warranted.

Ok another hypothetical. Five years ago, UND hires a head coach and entire staff with no ties to UND and no ties to anyone who posts on this board. Fast forward five years and 43 blocked punts later, this imaginary coaching staff has amassed a .527 record, 1 victory in five years against teams finishing in the top 15, zero playoff victories, and countless clock and game management blunders. Would the Bubba backers extend that same reality-devoid optimism towards this imaginary coaching staff that they do for Bubba and co.?

exactly my thoughts as well. I'd rather we lose every game until we get a new coaching staff. anyone willing to take off the Kelly green glasses has known the ceiling of this crew for a long time now. I'd much rather endure more short term pain than be stuck with mediocre misery from here to eternity.

I'd rather we just lose the last two by 60 and secure a higher draft pick. That's how this works right?

I could have farted out in Morse Code a better 4th quarter special teams and offensive game plan than we saw yesterday. No recruit is worth keeping an inept coaching staff. Said recruit would never reach their full potential anyway if they're poorly coached.

This coaching staff has never outcoached an opponent, and never will. The games this team wins is because we have the better players. They’ve never schemed us to victory. Some people have been saying this for years. Hopefully enough more get on board and help demand a change. Im not interested in watching mediocre football until Bubba is 93 and decides to retire.
