I think we were ranked 40th after last week if you go by number of votes received. We have no chance of playoffs regardless.

PSU 28 UND 24. Each team will score 4 touchdowns. all of Portland States’ scores will come on punts blocked and returned. After the game, I will check out Siouxsports, and still see people defending Kostich.

We are currently 11th in the country in TOP. And tied for 2nd in the country with 6 other teams in punts blocked. If we play to lose as per usual we just may crack top ten in TOP. and if we continue using our punt scheme as it works so damn well, we’ll have a chance to tie or possibly take over the #1 ranking for punts blocked. #daybyday

My goofy analogy was only meant to point out that sometimes kids might like something that turns out to not be in their best interest. The close games UND has lost in recent years that involved huge special teams gaffes is too much to ignore and continue giving him a free pass.

A lot of kids liked Michael Jackson, too..... doesn’t always correlate into a great idea.

YES we can all debate on what style of offense and defense would be most successful, but what irritates me so much right now is the guys played their hearts out, got screwed by the refs multiple times, and did enough to win this game if it wasn't for complete coaching ineptitude. 8 minutes left in the game and up by 10, and with the reputation our punt team has, we don't max protect on that punt???? less than 4 minutes left in the game up by 3, our top 4 receivers out with injury, and we decide to go into #chuckthepigskin mode??? This from the staff that is more in love with TOP than any other statistic known to man??? If Bubba and the Blunderers want to attempt to stem the tide of frustration among the fanbase right now, I would hope they take it upon themselves this week to accept complete blame for this loss and give the players credit for doing enough to win.

I also don't get why when we have three up backs, and the other team is completely stacking one side, we don't slide a second upback over to that left side in this situation.
