The fact is NDSU isn't in the BSC and they are kicking our ass. What exactly does the BSC and schools other then Montana or Montana State offer that the Summit doesn't? The rest of the BSC is on par with the indana alphabet soup schools. I think we would be better off moving our olympic sports to the Summit and putting the money saved on travel expenses into our programs. We could increase coaching salaries, recruiting budgets, facilities. IMO we are not only losing ground to NDSU but also both SD schools.

Why couldn't UND join the Summit League and still be a football affiliate in the BSC? Works for Cal Poly and Davis. Would be much better for our other sports then flying them all over the western US.

Just have to face the facts that we are not in the same league as NDSU, yet. Defensively we are getting much closer, still need to work on the pass defense. Special teams are spotty but not terrible. The offense is pathetic. Really need to beef up the oline and find a decent QB along with some RB's and WR's. I still think we can compete in the BSC at least with all but the very top teams.

3-0 with wins over Wyoming and NDSU I would hope that we would be top 5 if not #1!

I actually like Scott Miller. I think he does a very good job calling a game. Seemed pretty fair the few times I've heard him.

It was a great win! Especially the way it played out. Pretty dominate effort by the boys!

Money! We would be talking 44 additional scholarships, new stadium, higher coaching salaries, to name a few. That's if you want to be competitive. How many BSC teams are struggling at the FCS level right now? You think it's going to be easy to find the additional funding??

If or when that happens there will be others looking at moving up not just your little BSC FBS dream scenario. No way in hell are even half the BSC teams in any situation to go FBS including UND. You seriously have some far out there ideas!

I think this is going to be close defensive battle. Both Bubba and Bohl like to play conservative on offense and hard nosed defense. I see both teams trying to run the ball and both teams stuffing the run. I think it'll come down to whichever offense can throw the ball and unfortunately I don't think our passing game is there yet. I'll say 24-14 Wyo.

We might want to refrain from this until after we play Montana. Their offense could give everyone fits. Just sayin....

I think the Nickel Trophy should still be played for, it is a replica of currency and a damn cool trophy. The NCAA has nothing to say about it. If it's been decided by both schools to never be a part of the rivalry then it needs to be put in the ND Heritage Museum for all to enjoy.

Have you tried the ponds right in Fargo? Seem to be a good spot for kids, plenty of small panfish willing to hit a worm under a bobber. Lake Ashtabula has a few fishing piers and plenty of bullheads to keep kids occupied for hours. An occasional perch or 2, some white bass and smallies and maybe even a walleye or pike too.
