Who says they will need to cut anything? Their not nearly as bloated as UND. Maybe their private donors will cover the cuts. Their fundraising has been pretty damn good. Just tired of some UND fans constantly hoping NDSU falls to make UND look better. I want UND to start making better decisions and pass them not wait for them to blow a tire. Cut the fat and streamline the AD and get ALL of our programs to championship level!

I'd go a step further and say they should serve time for being accomplices and allowing that behavior to continue.

Just need to keep elevating the conference by playing better schedules and winning some big games OOC and in the tourney. Multi bid conferences like the MVC didn't start out where they are either.

Have a new Trophy designed with a Hawk on one side and a bison on the other.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Nickel Trophy is owned by both UND's student body and NDSU's Blue Key organization. So if it is never to be played for again it should be put on permanent display someplace. The ND Heritage Museum seems appropriate. I agree with having a dedication ceremony and new trophy reveal at the next game.

Do you know how much it would cost to buy 2 hours of ad space on ESPN? If you don't think that was worth it what makes any sports D1, D2, D3 worth spending money on? Maybe we should just shutter the entire athletic program and use that money elsewhere.

I'm glad UND had a conference home for the last 5 years but I've never been a fan of the BSC. I didn't think it was ever a good fit for UND. You would never convince me that a school 800 miles away in a different time zone belongs there. Makes no sense.

Lol I see you're doubling down on stupid posts. Seems to me both NDSU and SDSU have beaten some pretty damn good programs that UND could only dream of since the D1 move but keep believing that the BSC is a juggernaut. Outside of EWU in FB and Weber in BB the BSC is garbage.

The plan to FBS would still be in the works. It will just involve a few different schools then he originally thought. His premise is still viable, of course it always will be until it's not lol

Lol how's that been working out for us the last 10 years? NDSU has ate our lunch nationally. Hell UND is probably 4th now behind the SD schools as well all because of the elitist attitude from our administration 15 years ago. Maybe if the supporters of this school gave half as much attention (money/interest) to the entire athletic program that they do to the hockey program we wouldn't be in the shape we are in. Until that happens and I don't see it happening anytime soon UND is always going to be behind the 8 ball when it comes to national recognition as an institution. But hey at least we have hockey!
