Yah, just crazy talk! And a major metro area of 4M folk just 4 -5 hrs away. Who woulda thunk?

I'm no great hockey mind but have to agree. Look at guys like Parks, the Genoways, Trupp, Duncan,... decent/real good college hockey players who stayed 4 years and were just not the NHL prototype. I never played hockey (did play soccer so I do know how to dive :-) so hard to explain but you know what you see. Who knows, maybe Stecher will one day be a good NHLer.

When you arriving in Orlando? Five of us also arrive in Orlando Wed afternoon and splitting rental on a Nissan Pathfinder to drive to Tampa, fly out of Orlando early Sun morning.

When you play one and done in sports that don't lend themselves to that (e.g. hockey and hoops in NCAA, the cream does not always rise to the top) and top teams don't get rewarded with home field/ice advantage (e.g. say as in football, such as NDSU in 1-AA playoffs up until the final) that's what happens and will continue to happen. It makes for great tv drama/excitement though.

I believe both Junk Yard Dog and Macho Man were both McDonald's All-American's. Fierce recruiting battles. One and done. : -)

Fair enough, agree. And while I love a nattie, let's hope Berry can accomplish year-in year-out excellence over a decade+ what Haks did. I'll take Haks over Eaves and Sandelin anytime.

Can be hot at times but at times some of her drives to the basket are maddening, gets thwarted off by 2 or 3 taller defenders underneath and at times is laughable (her judgement). You're thinking why did you do that Dyer?! And her long range game is certainly hit and miss.

I'm not a great hockey mind by any means but I thought at least thru 2 periods tonight Boeser did not look sharp. Seemed every time I noticed him with the puck he made a poor pass that was picked off or simply lost the puck. I could be wrong...

But doesn't every NHL arena do that? I think it just leads to better ice throughout the game is why that's done now (the Xcel does it).

Didn't Chyzyk miss on a breakaway or two Sat night also? A valuable senior to have but his breakaways normally not a positive result it seems over this past season.
