Just watched the UND Insider highlights, so many chances that were so close, Schierhorn played excellent. Alot of chances that are hard to say that we made him look good, he stood on his head. Bast was within maybe a inch of putting his wrap around in to tie the game. Now we can't live on almosts, but if we play like we did last night we probably win 9 out of 10. So we need to go out tonight and make it 1 out of 2 for the weekend.

His Play Action looked like a quality NCAA QB, better than I have seen from Studs, but I have seen 2 plays from him, didn't see his play earlier in the season.

There is a financial commitment here for the students. However there are quite a number of groups that leave after the 1st and 2nd period ends to go to parties. But it is alot easier for a student that has no money put into it to leave when it gets rough, or to attend their greek formals etc.

It's becoming a nationwide thing, not every where has implemented it, but larger venues definitely have. Part to do with new management as they want to be as consistent as they can across the board to draw acts that have more strict security standards. Today's media is all about being targets in public places with recent events, even if still not a common thing, people generally are asking for additional security, but then get upset if it disrupts them. Experience and more training will make the process better, faster and more smooth. Dakota Dome typically is only USD events and not alot of concerts or much goes on their, controlled by USD they get to choose the process. UND can set stricter standards than what the Alerus has set but I am sure that the Alerus will loosen their policy.

If the visiting team didn't walk through the area of gate 2 they easily could've moved the metal detectors in further where there is more room to add a few more and for people to wait inside. Heck would speed up the lines if they had 5 instead of 3 and had them setup outside the doors with a canopy cover. There were 2 lines at that gate, most didn't realize it and the much shorter 2nd line had 2 metal detectors while longer line had 1. Once you got so far they had barricades seperating the lines.

There is a fence on the columbia side. The south end has bushes and trees and balls never enter road that way. The IPF field is shy of being regulation size according to a teeet this morning by UND soccer, due to track cutting the corners of endzonre i believe. Many north central D1 schools play on turf.

For what OL we had in there there were probably at least 10 plays that the WRs dropped or was thrown way off target.

I think Montana St. Was more surprised we didn't call time out amd let them actually run the play. More times than not a TO is called there and off never runs their ramdom formation play even after the TO

Bubba needs to take control there. Keaton needs to be aware to snap quick too. This week as well as not getting a play off last week that was a drive killer. I would feel alot better down 11 or even 14 if we get points on the board on 1st drive. But we can not stop them anyhow. 2 times they had guys wide open. 1 had no defender in sight.

I always have that issue with ESPN3, not just this game.
