KNOX News

I haven't seen it in person, but I know they had the promoters of it on KNOX last week, and said they never had it's grand opening or put any more in the Herald about it due to unforseen problems they had all season with tarps tearing, and maintenance through the storms.

Lessens congestion on the downtown bridge and the curvy bridge by the fork that can be nasty in the winter. Truck bypass also can cone into play. Just because nothing is there yet doesn't mean it would stay that way. If a bridge would've been at 32nd ave I believe you would've seen EGF development there. No one wants to build where there is less access, and the 2 main artiries through EGF are limited to build on until you get further from the river

It would've had us in 15th yet, alot closer to UNO tho. A win last night, and tie tonight may have been enough for 14th. Minnesota being swept through 4 games vs PSU didn,t help. UNO played PSU i believe, UND played UMN this year, so it hurt the quality Wins calculation. A win tonight, and a win at Miami last weekend would've had us 14th pulling away from UNO, and on the heels of UMN. I would think a sweep of UNO would be enough to get us in, if other top teams win their series, any opponent will be top 10 after that. A series win, and 1 win at the NCHC tourney should be solid to get in.

Even with a W last night we still are 15th due to other results. But we would've bern much closer to 14 then we are now. Probabillity matrix has us at 30% in. From using CHN pairwise customizer for games that may have a effect with B1G and NCHC having same results tonight as last night, with the exception of UMD and UND winning tonight we remain 15 but just behind UNO. Getting home ice will be huge. Alot of shooting own toes has happened this year tho.

We have played better this year against the stronger teams, so hoping that is the case again. A split will help our cause, Minnesota can help us if they take the series against Penn State. Duluth can help keep UNO behind us. A Western/CC split may help in NCHC rankings, not sure what way is best for pairwise. Then use home ice to advantage to win playoff series. Do whatever it takes to make it to St. Paul, that happens then I think we control our destiny and hopefully can get atleast 1 win there. Sliver of hope still hanging on.

MidcoSN has improved greatly from where they were when it was just MC23. Comcast owns 49% of them. I think they have dreams of being similar to a Comcast Sports Net. They recently took over some areas in Kansas and I have heard have an additional Midco Sports Net Kansas feed. Not sure if we can get that in the Dakota's as I have never looked, just what I have seen on MidcoSN website.
