  1. I just went on Bisonville for the first time and it was the top result in recent activity. Nearly 60 pages on NDSU needing to move up. I didnt read much of it but do know someone recommending building classrooms instead of new athletic facilities
  2. Email from President Schafer
  3. 2% for everyone except Med and Law which are going up 2.5%. Yay, we just increased this past year too right? Yes the Med School was running out of space for everything. I have heard anatomy is staying at the old building as well. Some programs that are apart of the SMHS don't even have offices or their own classrooms in the current med school. I know Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training will have some resources move from Hyslop to the new med school. How much I don't know, as the Hyslop will still be a base for both i assume.
  4. Also there was rumors before of a addition onto the wellness with a pool, so maybe they thought they would be able to switch over at that time? I haven't heard or seen anything more on the subject though, and I don't think a master planning ever had a pool at the wellness, so maybe it is just the wellness' dream.
  5. Air Force gets alot of players from the NAHL, or a few years ago they did. Not even USHL, but they have had some strong teams in the past. Big problem is for them that there is a high academic requirement to get in. Coach Serratorre's son even had a quote saying he wanted to play for AFA but couldn't get in so went to UMN. There have been a few All-Americans and players that the NHL wanted but most will stay in for their service instead of taking the way out after I believe it is 2 years. I know I read before that after graduation there is a minimum 2 years before a waiver for release will be granted for those that want to go professional in sports. I can't remember exactly but do remember it was in a article about one of their players who was playing part of a AHL season with Lowell Found it: Greg Flynn http://www.goairforcefalcons.com/sports/m-hockey/spec-rel/012210aaa.html
  6. You are right, I saw the trophy presentation at a viewing party, was it last year when they switched to ESPNU or ESPN News for trophy presentation, I believe it was last year when they called Providence the Terriers
  7. I believe they said it on TV, but my understanding is its a separated AC joint, can't really injure it further but it does hurt alot. I'm assuming he had a pain shot before the game, and then maybe mess around with that tape that you see the sand volleyball players wearing during the olympics(have no idea what it is called) that is supposed to help alleviate pain
  8. Eh it comes up maybe 1 or 2 times a year at the Ralph when the students see someone with a NDSU shirt on shown on the screen, normally doesn't last that long though. Alot more of Gopher Rejects chants toward the Minnesota teams. There are so many things that could be brought up against NDSU that it is laughable. Neither fanbase is perfect, but I do agree that Minnesota and NDSU fans contributed alot to some Natives taking offense to chants that they hear such as Sioux sucks Sh*t which I have heard through the TV on broadcasts before.
  9. Big stat, and is will be big again against QU North Dakota MHockey ‏@UNDmhockey 38m38 minutes ago UND blocked a season-high 27 shots last night, its most since blocking 28 vs. Quinnipiac in the 2015 NCAA West Region semifinal. #RaiseIt
  10. After watching the 4 regular season games between these two I definitely believe the ice was a factor. A factor for both teams however. There were 4 morning skates, and 2 games. The ice was given less than a hour to recover after the 1st game. Full rink with body heat and heat from outside, or heater in the building doesn't help. I know players have said before that the ice is not as good when they follow a womens game just for the fact that it isn't nice a crisp and set up like it is on nights that they are the only show in the rink.
  11. I think Bucci was confusing White/Darks with how the NHL does it with White being lower seed. Schlossman is saying UND will most likely wear Black business suits
  12. brace it to restrict movement, give the muscles/ligaments/knee a rest from having to work. Possibly help as it goes through the swelling phase, Ice, rest and elevate and see if he can go with a shot on Saturday. UND has players that can play his spot, but he was a big part in the 2nd part of the season. Also being a NHL draft pick he may not risk a injection that suppresses the pain
  13. Starman being a NHL scout is a big show of how good he is at analysis.
  14. Bucci said knee to knee contact with a teammate I believe.
  15. I very much enjoy ESPN saying Fighting Sioux, while I won't boo the Hawks name when pronounced, I still call them the Sioux and still do the chants with my classmates. i just got a laugh out of Greg, but it's just nice to have any coverage. Did Bucci use the Hawks name? I know he called us just North Dakota most of the night.
  16. So ESPN puts a small box with NCAA Hockey on the right side of the homepage with this video: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:15159487. They call us the Fighting Sioux twice, and call Gage, Greg.
  17. exactly, in my previous post about blocking shots and passes I started to mention but decided to not to that bounces may work against you, but the majority of the time it will work in your favor to get in the way and prevent shots and open looks.
  18. User Actions Following Brad E. Schlossman‏@SchlossmanGF Ausmus on Schmaltz goal: "I was just happy that I wouldn't receive any death threats for that goal I scored on our own net." Now without hearing it you can't be 100% but I think he was jokingly serious. I don't doubt he would receive some if they lost, and may have already even though they won. It's a scary world we live in now.
  19. Shots 1 2 3 T Denver 4 9 10 23 North Dakota 4 9 10 23 Team Pen-PIM PPG-PPO Denver 1-2 0-4 North Dakota 4-8 0-1 I can't locate a blocked stats final, but to end up with equal number of shots after being short handed an extra 6 minutes, great shutdown and shot blocking. Those blocked shots were huge, typically when a team has 3 more powerplays the shots are lopsided.
  20. I know North Dakota blocked alot of shots tonight, it was up to 15 after either the 1st or 2nd. Poolman had atleast 6 himself.
  21. I hope so, the university doesn't need any more ghosts, the tunnel leading to West has all we need. Great Character to be able to come back after giving up 2 goals to put pressure back on.
  22. WatchESPN just interrupted the game to show me a swimming advertisement. What is happening?
  23. That is absolutely terrible no call, I don't know if a stick got him in the face, but the contact down low is definitely Goaltender Interference or Roughing .
  24. Denver player rocking back to fall down, lowers his head. He needs to keep the elbow down, and that may come back to hurt the team horribly.
  25. Timeout was used in the 2nd.
