Same. Travel is stupid in the Big Sky and most of the schools are kind of pathetic. Would suck to leave the Montana's, but that is all we would be missing. Imagine the savings in travel budget being spent on coaching....

I think we need a new coach. I would probably be willing to give him another year do to his contract, but his antics on the sideline are embarrassing. Hate to take the cheap shot, but he needs to buzz his head as well. He looks unkempt.

They should double the height of the risers in the betty for games like uni, ndsu, sdsu, usd, etc... they will pay for themselves and look way better. There is NO excuse why we don't play USD every year. Complete incompetence by whoever does the scheduling.

Me too. Advice to anyone that doesn't like listening to him: EMBRACE IT! He is just having fun, and you should too! He will get better though, as commentating is rather new for him.

I think the champions club should be rewarded for donating to the athletic department.

Of course, that's because you don't follow hockey close enough to understand or remember the details of conference realignment, and you are biased against North Dakota (and it's conference). You're also a fan of Notre Dame, and there is just no way that they would get shut out of a conference that UND formed.

No, I'm not. I'm saying having a couple beers in the system makes it more fun to stand up and cheer. It used to be the case that seniors could go to the bar and then head to the game right before puck drop and sit in the lower bowl. Now, they have to skip the bar and wait in line for three hours to get a lower bowl seat (and they can't have a beer there either).

I disagree based on personal experience. I started at UND in 2009 and there is a huge difference from even then. Students have ALWAYS been creative in bringing booze in. All that has changed is that there are LESS intoxicated students. Intoxication = loud.

I'm curious - is this you trolling or an educated guess? Does the CHL classify their payments as stipends? And anyone know how much they actually get paid (CHL players)?

I think combining upper/ lower tickets to one first come first serve tickets caused this. Can't pregame or go to the bar beforehand and get a decent seat.

The NFL could share teams. The Wild share their ECHL team with someone.. not sure how it works exactly, but the NFL minor leagues could have something like a ten team league. That's a topic for a different day though.

Invest in the football program and it will pay for itself. Increase attendance by 2k a game X 6 home games X $20 = $240K
