    They way Drake handled their coaching search made Faison's search for a football coach a few years back look competent. Think from a PR standpoint they would wait on that.

    typically done over the offseason but there are exceptions (the higher profiled holiday tournaments). We know for sure that we play NDSU in a home and home next year.

    The more I reflect back on this entire name transition issue, the more I realize how many chances UND had to stop the bleeding and whiffed. It didn't have to be this painful and long. People rip Schafer for not having a vote on the logo but ask yourself, after how the vote was handled on the name could you really do it again?

    I really don't think they would go through this exercise just to cut Softball. I am more than convicted they are going for something big either in multiple program or they are going after Women's Hockey.

    If UND gets by BU on Friday, they are coming out of the regional. Its either one and done or Frozen 4. I don't see a middle ground

    Sure it gets done sooner rather than later. Question is will it be done before or after the athletics budgetary decisions.

    Think coaches could still help in "tweaking" their form a bit. But you are about 95% right.

    yup, and they are pretty much glorified form shooting. Its like hitting your driver off the tee, if you are not in rhythm at any part you are more than likely going to miss.
