  1. I would be okay with either option.
  2. I've run out of words to describe this power surge. They are so much fun to watch.

  5. I'm almost ready to jump in with both feet with this team. Think there is a key 9 game stretch in the last week of May/first week of June with Brewers, Rays, and Indians. If they do well, that might be enough for me to say: Okay, this team is going to do something. Might be time to start looking at some reliever to trade for to add another weapon to the pen.
  6. Could we really trust UND to run the process again? We all know how well they did last time..... "6-figure consultant uses Urban Dictionary to rate one name over another.... "
  7. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/education/4614596-whos-and-whos-out-run-und-president https://www.grandforksherald.com/4614594-state-board-member-chancellor-split-how-move-forward-und-presidents-search Couple of articles from the Herald today. Smith is willing to come out of retirement to help, this should be a no brainer SBoHE. Don't know much about the others that they mentioned outside of Schafer. I could understand both viewpoints on how long the interim could be there, but they do need to have a plan going forward and having their ducks in a row... which is hard to say for the State Board, lol.
  8. If anyone has any interest in looking at the NSIC perspective on the UND opening http://www.d2messageboard.com/showthread.php?t=94739&page=8
  9. Is it time to start saying: Byron Buxton... All star? Discuss
  10. Ask me in about 2 years -
  11. Are we talking athletic, academic or both here?
  12. I saw it in the article about the coach leaving. Its good that the program is being kept alive through donations, but at some point they do need this to be sustainable. Its hard to keep a program going if you are just running year-to-year and don't know if this year will be the last. And I do hope they get there.
  13. It looks like it’s funded through 2021.
  14. Cue Drew Rosenhaus: Next Question.
  15. I hope they can get a coach in by the end of the month or early June. Lets hope UND nails this hire.
  16. Thinking ahead here: so when the new coach is hired, will he clean house of all of the assistants or will some be retained? If so, who would most likely stay in your opinion?
  17. If they add a motivated Sano to this lineup....
  18. Interesting: Good for USD.
  19. That will be interesting to see what the number ends up being.
  20. BTW: Was in ever mentioned in any GF Herald article that the State Board had asked for the discrimination suit to be dismissed and the only reason I know this was reading an article from Colorado on Kennedy and the Title IX lawsuits?* *I'm not being snarky, I really want to know if I truly missed this.
  21. Its not a good look for Idalski. HOWEVER, given the performance of the teams since WIH was cut, its supporters can easily point to that and say: Huh... they said the programs were going to get better, doesn't look like it. They could have done this and kept the sport. Does he take the swipe if UND had put up 3 Summit titles, 2 NCAA trips and a deep FCS playoff run for FB this year?
