  1. So this guy ran away to Texas but is going to try to tell North Dakota how to operate? He doesn't sound very committed to the good of the state.
  2. You're talking the Manitoba game when a few players will be serving some sort of punishment?
  3. You don't want a politician as the manager.

So when the state tries to give grand forks something, it's really just part of a plot to keep grand forks from doing it better. Got it.
  5. If history proves anything, it's that depth isn't really important.
  6. They must really like those juco guys they brought in.
  7. Sounds like Gersich is reporting directly to the Caps rather than the Bears. Nice negotiating by him and his team.
  8. No, but I suppose it could be unrelated to basketball.
  9. Ouch. May explain some of the scholarship questions posed earlier.
  10. Everything I've seen just says he's expected to sign, not that he already has.
  11. Anyone getting their hopes up that no news today is good news regarding Gersich?
  12. And losing low round draft picks and undrafted players early seems to be hitting UND harder than other teams lately. Problems of success to some extent, but hopefully it rights itself soon (since success has been more muted the last 2 years). Wolanin (JR - 4th), Gersich (JR - 5th), T Poolman (JR - 5th), Stecher (JR - UFA), Thompson (JR - 3rd), Ladue (JR - 6th), L Johnson (JR - 5th) - Many of these are guys who were likely expected to be here 4 years when they were brought in.
  13. Smart and nice. Tax deduction might be worth more than some are getting selling theirs!
  14. I too have Denver winning, but with Clown, Northeastern, and Clarkson in the sparsely attended FF.
  15. I assume they use a non-state-owned bank. Bank of North Dakota has over $7 billion in assets, but I guess I don't sympathize with private banks being unable to profit off the taxpayers. Partnering with the Bank of North Dakota also allows the smaller private banks in the state to take on loans/projects that would otherwise go to big out-of-state banks.
  16. UND has accounts with the Bank of North Dakota, but its money is separate from the rest of the state money. They aren't even on the same accounting system.
  17. Leaving - Wolanin, Gersich Arriving - Hain, Weatherby, Huber, Senden, Keane, Tychonick, Scheel In case he hasn't signed yet
