I think the ladies hockey team hasn't suffered quite enough yet...

Not to be a hater, but I have been to every ndsu/und basketball game since they brought the game back. The best atmospheres weren't in the dome or in the ralph... nor were they very full.

What's funny is that if und dropped men's hockey it wouldn't be this big of a story, despite the nice arena and successful program. Drop women's hockey and it turns out sexism is alive and well on the northern plains!

Hmm... look at who is tied for first! After ND punches their ticket to the frozen 4 today, I will probably be in first outright.

If the hockey squad is anything like the football teams at the academies, they will usually get a whole that us greater than the sum. Good, smart, disciplined kids go to AFA. Tough to implement that kind of culture at a typical school.

My first college hockey game was USAFA vs. Mankato , February 24, 1996 in Colorado Springs. They can be my second favorite team after the Irish. God comes before country, so the Irish will come before the cadets.
