That would be a great goal song...better pull the trigger now because I bet other schools and pro teams will be using it at some point. Light em up up up Light em up up up Light em up up up...i'm on fire!
-
Good thread, our goal song needs to be updated badly. Enough said.

Beating SDSU would give us some great confidence but I would like to beat MSU or EWU to make up for the bad losses last year. Such a tough question given the highly ranked teams that are coming in.

Heck i'm just happy that there is a waiting list. Definitely a good sign of growth and interest.

Also Dexter sent this to me in March, which I totally forgot about until the above post. I did reply and let him know that since I live out of state I would probably only make it to one game. The initiative is great to see: I hope all is well. I noticed you guys came out for a UND Football game last fall and I wanted to e-mail you some season ticket information for next year’s UND Football season in case you were interested in saving some money on tickets for games next season. As you can see by the schedule we have some great teams coming to the Alerus next year including South Dakota State, Montana, Montana State, and Eastern Washington. When comparing the season tickets to the single game ticket prices, you can save over 50% on the tickets and even if you only make 3 of the 7 games you would still be getting your money’s worth from the tickets, plus you get Season Ticket Holder benefits. On top of that you can reserve seats now and not pay until we send out invoices in April. I’ve attached a flyer with information and listed a couple available locations below. If you would like to reserve one of these locations or have questions just let me know. Thanks for your time! Section 216 Row J Seats 6-9 - 4 seats (If you only want two we can do that) - $75 a seat - 25 yard line seats - 5 in from the aisle - 10 rows from the field - Same seats all 7 games Section 216 Row L Seats 11-14 (Best valued tickets) - 4 Seats (if you only need two you can do that as well) - $75 a seat - 12 Rows from the field - 20 yard line seats - Same seats all 7 games Like I mentioned you can reserve now and not pay until April. Let me know if you’d like either of these or would like to look at a different location.

I sat in 215 last year and had a lot of fun. Even met a poster on here.

This is exactly what I was thinking when I posted earlier...we gave up so many yards on the short passes. Yes, if we start getting consistently burned deep than sure sit 10 yards off all day long. Until then I would like to see them get in receivers faces a bit more. Just my amateur observation over the last couple years.

No kidding. I have a hard time understanding the philosophy of the CB's playing so far off all the time. Are they that worried about being beat by the deep ball?
-
Just win baby! Seriously though I agree that OL, DL, and RB play will be improved and our QB's will need to do just enough because our receivers will take care of the rest. NDSU won back to back championships with an average QB; albeit he does have good leadership traits. The big question I have been pondering lately is which RB is going to step up and be the guy? Miller was down last year, but that kid is a fighter with a true North Dakota work ethic. Garmin is too hard for me to even predict...although he did look faster at the spring game. Shaugs is a beast and we were sorely missing that when Sutton went down (See Northern Colorado). Sparks has all the tools to be great...just needs to see the field. I don't think I have a preference who plays RB as long as we are not averaging 2 yards per carry!

I think the 10 spot is about right because we have a lot to prove given that we have redshirt QB's and a defense that needs to redeem themselves. However as pointed out in the article, if one of the QB,s steps up and delivers then we could be in for a good year. * we are the 9 spot

I was catching up on this thread and I was thinking to myself: No worries, call the NSA as they surely have the emails

You are a special kind of stupid if you really think that's what he meant. bville needs you back...run along now.

Me too, the logo could be quite interesting: http://www.in2jeep.com/reapers/Images/Reaper-logo-big.jpg Although we would probably need to tame it down a bit to fall in line with the pc drivel.

I am a big fan of Joe Blacks. We had so much fun there back in the day. I end up meeting friends there every time I am back in GF. Good place to watch a game too.
-
Hey watch it with that language as you are likely to lure some trolls away from AGS

I always get more excited when the countdown is under 60 days!

Well said. Those alerus logos are ridiculously big. Seems like they are trying too hard.
-
I miss the parrot's Cay wings so much! I make it a point to stop there every time I am back in GF!

I fully understand where the origin comes from...since I am under 30 I have a different understanding of the word....

Ha Shockers is a real name: http://www.goshockers.com/ In today's PC world I am genuinely surprised they can get away with that. How about the Fighting Wombats

Buy Sell Sell I think that the returning experience and as Jdub said the youth enthusiasm of coach K will make a huge difference. I don't really know why but I have a good feeling about coach K; all speculation of course.

Summit League could take over NCHC to survive?
UNDColorado replied to SiouxVolley's topic in NCAA News
Yes, but DU has a superiority complex when it comes to UNC...I've never understood it. -
This is my suspicion as well...
-
I was wondering the same thing. Prior to last season I haven't followed basketball that much, but when are upcoming schedules traditionally released?
-
Interesting, time will tell then. After reading the article it is odd that that many emails were deleted on the exact day of the open records request. *I assumed Carlson was behind this from some of the earlier posts.
