Really Dan? Mens Basketball was devastated by injuries for the first half of the season but managed to finish third. Volleyball had a decent year. Both Hockey teams were in the NCAA tournament. Baseball is over 20 wins for the first time in their D1 era. Football had a poor season in their first year of Big Sky play, very much like your bison in their first year of MVFC play. Women's Basketball was terrible so I will give you that, and Tennis I suppose but nobody really cares about that anyway. The fact is you are completely wrong and your hatred for UND makes you completely delusional.

Buy- The coordinators have caught some initial criticism because they are young and inexperienced, but I have a feeling that these young coaches are the sort of revival this program needs. They are smart and energetic and I feel that we have been lacking this. Obviously time will tell and this season is huge, but I guess my glass is half full. Buy or Sell- we have a 1,000 yard rusher this year? and who?

That is pretty much spot on, but yesterday I noticed a couple NDSU fans on AGS saying how they missed the great games with Poly and Davis and how they should be scheduling them again. Some of them talk in circles and refuse face the reality of the situation. I can't say I blame them because many of us did this during the nickname debacle.

Wow, I didn't realize the SoCon was in that bad of shape. Appy and GA southern have also made it public that they want to move up to FBS the first chance they get.

Yeah their delusions are laughable at this point. Not too long ago all of these clowns were having a ball watching us struggle with our nickname issue that then spilled over to conference affiliation. So at this point all I am going to say is that I have my popcorn ready!

Yeah I was looking forward to seeing how Sparks has progressed, oh well. Hopefully he heals up and works hard this summer and we will see what happens in the fall.

One that has been sort of overshadowed is the running backs. As we all saw last year our running game was poor at best so a huge jump in production is needed. My question is who is going to be the top two? I would love to see a 1-2 punch of Miller and Shaugs.....with some Sparks mixed in.

Yeah after some thought I rescind my earlier position of bringing NDSU into the conference. They seem happy in a dying conference so they should stay there.

I thought that it was a well written article. I would definitely be for adding NDSU to the Big Sky for a few reasons: 1) Play the damn football game! 2) Travel- Other teams in the conference have been iffy about traveling to UND for one basketball game for example. If NDSU is in that will make for an ideal travel partner to ease other schools concerns and impact on their budgets. 3) For the state- this more so goes back to playing in football but this alone would be huge for the state: revenue, exposure, pride. Thoughts?

Agreed. Also note that our four away games are very winnable: PSU, NAU, UC Davis, Idaho State 7-4 at the very least.
