They had a great win and that final drive was incredible. Tip of the hat to NDSU. In terms of the FBS talk, the biggest determining factor to move-ups is the media market the team brings and what it is worth. Unfortunately the upper midwest doesn't provide anything close to what they are looking for. I am not saying that it is impossible but the odds are stacked heavily against it. If there is a separation from the top conferences then all bets are off. This is just my theory of course.

Good point. After 2011 I would have never guessed that our D would have been so bad last year. A lot can happen in a year.

Run defense has to be the number one concern going in. Special teams was a little shaky but I am not surprised given our snapper is new. If we can score points and contain Zenner we have a chance...

Every game in a Big Sky venue will be available for free on www.watchbigsky.com...this includes all of our away league games. This is the first year that I will have access to all games. Last year I couldn't find a feed for the San Diego State game.

Previously in this thread I shared some information to get discounts from DirecTV. They gave me an awesome deal to stick around but today I realized that they cancelled my sports pack ($12.99 / month). So I called today and explained that I stuck around to keep my original package I was paying for and they agreed to give me the sports pack for $2.99 / month for three months. She even said to call back after three months to get the discount again.

Just heard that the game is also on Fox College Sports! Big Sky TV is great but more options is always better.

My goal is to go 2-2 in our first four games. I think that is realistic and would put us in a position to have a great rest of season.

We also seemed to be effective on the short passes which is essentially a form of the running game.

And some short yardage situations...

This should absolutely be a no contest. I am very interested in watching a couple position groups and to see how well the D is wrapping up. A good warm-up game before the tough schedule starts. Also, opening on a Thursday is kind of nice because that should give us a couple extra practices to prepare for SDSU.

I agree, I can see Cheatum playing but even without RJ we have incredible depth at WR.

I agree, there is a lot of depth other than the obvious 4. Bridges seems to be progressing well and Young is no slouch, rather a victim of the depth chart. I almost forgot about Fletcher as well. if RJ is not good to go redshirting may be a great decision. Not an easy one because any competitor wants to compete.
