Yep, all Jones does is put together a line-up card and then sit and watch (sarcasm). I think Mussman was spouting some of the same nonsense during his final season. Jones has been in charge of this program for almost a decade now. He is responsible for the roster, the assistants that work under him and everything else that happens. I wonder if he will cut a couple of players to save his own a$$? The last vestiges of the disastrous Tom Buning regime are still causing damage to the men's basketball wing of the athletic department. And it's time to pull the plug.

I don't think the Women's team will be bad this year; they'll bounce back once they get their injured players back in the line-up. But it will be interesting to see how the Women's team bounces back from a very disappointing 2014-15 season. As for the Men's program, you are right about the leash Jones has been given and it is a serious concern.

It's definitely something that needs to be watched this season, that's for sure.

If you are talking about having bowl games for the teams that don't make the 24 team field, then I could get on board with this. And the FBS field of 4 will be expanded to 8 in the next five years. There will be too much controversy over teams getting left out that are just as good as the team being included. And there is way too much $$$$$ that can be made with an extra round of games.

Cripes, it took us literally decades to get rid of that horse*bleep* "bowl system" in FBS, and now you guys are trying to install it in FCS? The playoff system needs a better selection process and a set of consistent criteria, but it is still way better than any of this boneheaded bowl BS.
