  1. And if it's the former, it might be time for a new A.D.
  2. So the people pushing hard for "UND/North Dakota" and "Nodaks" weren't shoving them down our throats?
  3. Wait for the "Climax-Fisher Rule" to be invoked in 3.....2.....1
  4. Oh, you mean this?
  5. Well, he used to work for the government, he hasn't held political office for awhile. And that is a very ignorant statement. Judge the individual on his or her merits.
  6. You just had to go there, didn't you? Seriously, I don't care about what Wrigley does in his personal life or anyone else for that matter.
  7. Generally, interim positions are about keeping the train on the tracks and not making big changes or launching big initiatives.
  8. But have you forgotten? Men's hockey wouldn't suffer all that much if we go back on the sanctions list, so it's "a small price to pay" to go back on it if it means getting the Fighting Sioux name and logo back. After all, none of the other programs matter anyway, right? (sarcasm)
  9. ROFLMAO!!!!
  10. That would be an excellent choice. Even if he doesn't have 5 previous years of Division I experience.
  11. I think they knew what you meant to begin with, but just couldn't resist the temptation to be a smart-mouth about it. I think Jones is basically working to earn another contract extension. Otherwise, it's good-bye Grand Forks for him.
  12. Thank God for common sense. I am of the opposite political party of Schafer, but he's a good guy and a pretty moderate politician who focuses on solutions and not merely sticking it to the other side.
  13. Was Ralph Engelstad ever appointed President of UND? Or the leader of the UND Alumni Association? No.
  14. They are both not preferable. They are both unacceptable.
  15. If you suck at your job of teaching, sure. If you happen to have a different political persuasion than the ruling political machine, no. Look up the history of the founding of the SBoHE and you'll get what I am saying. It involved Bill Langer firing NDSU professors for political reasons.
  16. No, but at least they aren't giving jobs to the highest bidder. Which is what you suggested.
  17. How about making him the new President? Sorry, this isn't a monarchy.
  18. Who has said their opinions should count more? Not me. Everyone gets one vote and that is how it should be. The eligible voting pool is one thing they haven't screwed up during this whole charade.
  19. I have read what you have written and it's pure, unadulterated B.S. So voting rights should be tied to $$$ donations? Then all we would have to do is use the Champions Club priority list to determine voting rights. But that would make this process even more elitist than it already is.
  20. That is a product of the sad state of the FB program until this year. And that won't change overnight. From 2001-05, the student section was rocking.
  21. Please don't confuse longevity with value. Some couples stay together for financial and/or parental reasons, not because they are happy with each other.
  22. Logic? What logic? That current students haven't lived on earth long enough to be considered important on this issue? I stand by all the statements I have made.
  23. No, you choose to make %&*! up as you go.
  24. So you are calling for a minimum age for voting? Is 30 old enough for you?
