Not everybody in GF likes hockey either. Those are the people we need to reach. Everyone has their own particular interests and tastes; some people may be more inclined to go to football games. But you have to have the marketing to attract them. And our efforts in that area are abysmal at best.

And that is the fault of the Athletic Department, no one else.

And if we take that approach to the program, it never will be. The 2001-2005 period proved that FB can be a player in this athletic department. But we have to think outside the box to get there.

It is a trade-off for sure. Omaha has its own Congressional District; Imperial Cass has a ways to go to get to that level. But there are drawbacks to growth and a proper balance is needed between growth and infrastructure.

When the Alerus first opened, we had about a month of evening home games and the place was packed. But Lennon kept bitching about not liking night games and that was the end of it. We need to go back to evening games when it doesn't conflict with hockey.

I would never call for games against Alabama. And anyone in our fan base that did would get called out by me. This thread has nothing to do with NDAC, so yes you are by definition trolling.

When your fan base holds up signs saying "Bring on Bama" and writes letters to Sports Illustrated demanding NDSU be on the cover instead of Alabama, you are basically asking for those types of comments. Especially when you troll on a rival's message board in a thread that has nothing to do with your team. Go back to Bisonville.

Look around buddy, we are already irrelevant in a lot of respects. The focus should be to fix it. But Chaves just wants to wait and see on everything.
